Northside appears to be making a concerted effort to encourage and bring on talent even if it is at an early stage. Scunthorpe have for years made track time available. Yes there isn't enough and the costs just get greater. Second halfs should be encouraged,but too many promotions don't seem to give encouragement.

The ever changing weather is a major problem for speedway racing. There is no doubt that it gets worse each season. Not a lot we can do,but as another poster acknowledged we are all weather watching more than ever.

I agree with George's overview,and hope that Glasgows new promotion do get more new fans through the gate. The weather has not been kind to the sport in recent years,but our 3.00pm start may just help pull in more interested fans. We also know from the promotions point of view that more attendees are required full stop. Our new improved facilities should also help money wise. Roll on sunday 31/03/13 3.00pm and the start on track of the new Red Revolution.

Use a couple of bits of wood and gently tap/lever the basket off by sliding them down the back. Give the basket a good dose of WD 40 first,bike on it's side spraying on the inside round all the centre slots of the shaft.

Interviews in the crowd,but must have a "big screen" to show it on. Could Samsung or any alternative producer not be enticed to advertise their products etc by supplying the "big screen". PS I know before anyone posts that we already have the best Screen at Ashfield!

Was there not a referees box up high at the proposed side even before the Hut was built at the present side.

From outside the "stadium" there is very little noise. The fans in the "covered enclosure" will be be the beneficiaries.

Going by Mason's posts Heather he is heading south. Probably put out the feelers towards the end of the season. He was there a year ago with Rohan,and he said in the "second half pits" that he was fixed up in the south. Maybe Mason will follow. Watch this space.
