I, for one, cannot go on a Monday or Thursday night as I finish work late. Wednesday was fine as I finish work early. First time in 50 years I haven’t been to one single meeting in a season. Will I go next year after missing a whole season and doing other things on a Wednesday night? I really don’t know.....Can’t say as I have missed it too much...

How about a certain Mr Rossiter “allowing” Pawlicki to miss about 12 matches so he stayed at reserve all season??

Craig Boyce first rode for Poole in 1988.....Leigh Adams first rode for Poole in 1989, although he did ride for the Poole junior team in 1988 when he came over for a month or so.

Jason Doyle’s Racing number was originally 43, but he couldn’t use it when he got in the GPs as Darcy already had it. Similarly Dudek was 69 and had to change it to 692 as Doyle had 69 in the GPs first.

My all time favourite rider has to be the late Vic Harding. Loved watching him pull a wheelie coming off the last bend and over the finish line when he won a race at Weymouth.

I just wish Poole still rode on Wednesdays.....Still be able to go then!!
