Im in the minorty- i will be able to budget and schedule leaving work better twice a month. However, it is important that we are challenging as people will stop going with planned gaps. It does make it slightly easier to attract top riders with fixtures evenly spread and two mondays off a month.

How about Bomber(transfer?!) Ricky PK Freddie Joonas... Certainly a lot stronger! Maybe we will help fix him up in Prem.
-
Ricky has to be signed IM0. Freddie and PK riding together would be good at 3&4. Jacob is a decent rider but he wasnt as good as we needed him to be last year. Can he kick on next season? I believe so BUT we need to be quick to make changes if it doesnt work out. What does that leave us with for the 5th rider? Id like Zengota or Harris if possible.

If Brady is on the List..then Kyle Newman will surely be picked up by someone else? So I reckon Brady wont be on it by choice imo. Does anyone know when the draft list will be made public?
-
We need to sign a new heatleader..Freddie PK and another... Would be happy with Jacob and Ricky back. Draft rider is gonna be key. Wonder if Ritchie Worrall would be on it? I guess Brady Kurtz will be on it...

Sutely PK will be in the line up?

Freddie Jacob Ricky PK Bates Clegg and Joel Andersson. Wooden spoonists and proud!

A Question Of Attitude
superguest replied to customhouseregular's topic in International World of Speedway
I think the situation with speedway riders not wishing to risk injury on a rutted track is completed valid. They have to be able to race in up to 80 meetings a season. They do not get paid by their clubs if they are injured. I am grateful to all speedway rider for giving it a go in tricky conditions, particually when you see so many injuries to their fellow riders. This is no disrespect to Rossi. Who is obviously a exceptional character as well as racer. -

Stars V Wolves - Wed 13 May
superguest replied to pointsmeanplayoffs's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Difficult meeting to get into as the racing was poor but the score was close then we had the Robert Lambert show which lived it up. Gave Josh Bates a big shove on lap 1 bend 4 in one race but he was awesome to watch. Felt Thorsell rode hard for his points return. Ricky Wells scored well, looked more solid which is good to see. Josh Bates is a real trier. PK was never going to enjoy the return to KL but he wasnt awful, just not a lot of opportunities to overtake. Freddie looked ok but nothing special until heat 13 when he seemed to look like his old self again.. When hes like that I always enjoy my speedway . Well done to the stars. Looking forward to Monday. Should be a close one! -
Wolves V King's Lynn Monday 18th May

But hes a heatleader as hes riding in that position. Hes not been too bad at home. Has had some really impressive races. Away hes only ridden at Cov, Poole & Lakeside. (Scored more than Mr Howath managed!) We will probably be up a point at home but him not riding doesnt benefit us away. Plus as hes a young rider, every race is important progression. His potential to increase meeting by meeting. But hope he get fully fit before returning. Wolves should give another rider a go for 6 weeks imo. Shame Sam Masters cant double up! -
Agree. We need to take advantage tonight. After last week at Swindon, not feeling so confident though. Hope the rain stays away!

Pk rode in Sweden yesterday so I doubt he would come back for a guest appearence. Hes due back on thurs so probably already has flights booked. -
Shame no Tobiaz. He would have done well imo. Bates has also looked good so far. Is Joonas any good at Blunsdon? Sure is a crazy sport with Freddie guesting against Joonas the following day for Lakeside.
-
Very much looking forward to this fixture. Wolves should be looking to take a point but the robins are hard to predict having had a lot injuries. Always enjoy seeing Kildemand in action. Hope its not too cold on the back straight!
-
The rule was amended to they can get off but their hands must not leave the handle bars or words to that affect. Great meeting. Had it all. Well done to Wolves.
-
4 riders level 1 tight bend...its like the British Final.
-
This is the one meeting both teams want to win. All riders can ride the track. Hope the racing lives up to expectation! Score line is gonna be tight. 43-47 I predict.

Wolves V Lakeside Mon 20th April

Good weather and no major crashes or incidents with the ref/riders meant it run fast and kept the flow. However that also made it less exiciting. Overall thou, I think it was what needed after Saturdays no show. -

Techincally your right, but its not their fault Boxall was injured prior to his first official meeting. -
Schlien or Watt doubling up seem to best options! But id imagine guests could work too as the rest of the team are scoring well.

Coventry Bees V Wolves Friday 27th March

In this instance but it isnt a good start for him/us. Hope he and robbo are feeling better for their next meetings. -
This is where the rules being implemented are unfortunate. Yes we want to see the best talent over here but injuries will be a huge factor especially if it all comes down to riding in one meeting. Hopefully Taylor will not be too disillusioned and work hard over in Aus to come back stronger.

I hope this point is stressed at this meeting in Jan. However, the PL teams really need to show a sign of intention for lesser reliance by implementing a draft system for the reserves.
