This could be close due to Coventrys fairly inexperienced bottom end and our unproven top 3. If they are all rusty could be a confidence booster for Garrity and Woryna. Going to predict 48-42 but not sure to who!

Reading between the lines - BV management were told to cancel the meeting but decided to go ahead probably due to finances. Lets hope the track is ready as soon as possible & that with some softer promoting they can get decent crowds- offer some sweetners etc. Not sure why the BSPA would punish BV once they get the track sorted - unless theres other issues. All seems very ill prepared.

After attending many abandoned meetings due to dodgy tracks and poor weather I was never going to go to this particular meeting. I never understood why they start the season in March? Starting in April would have allowed for 2 weeks of testing. Plus its mote likely to be warmer for the fans.

Just read two pages of this thread..and its like a soap opera. Theres so many backstories to posts theres no way to understand them...especially when PL & EL fans mix together !

Wednes &/or Thurs is what most riders want. Can all EL teams race on those nights? PL teams (Ipswich, Sheffield) would have to avoid DU riders or move racenights.

It needs to be regulated properly - with set nights designated to the EL and PL, and more help (to ride abroad) for riders who are stuck in the PL due to too few opportunities in the EL.

It just comes across a lil odd that you care so much about Edinburgh's chances next year to the extent that you have posted and argued the point. It reminded me of simular posts about Pooles team in 2015 not being as strong as their 2014 team. Just seems a really pointless arguement as successful teams have to lose more than most from previous seasons and its not as if the fans on here can change that.

He posts a lot on the edinburgh thread too. Seems to enjoy talking their team down. I'm not at all agreeing with everything you say but I think your right about this poster...

Thats the main reason im not that excited about the team signed up. I read somewhere that Cook has never ridden for BV at Lakeside due to his edinburgh commitments. Even if they may look better on paper we should have gone with one of Ashley Morris or Ricky instead of Max or Sam.

Surely we should do a simular deal as with Blackbird? Wolves take priorty if theres a clash when both are away from home. Sheffield take priority when they are at home.

Im intrigued to see how Kyle Howarth will do. Hes either amazing or unnoticeable. I really hope it works out for him & us, plus its good to have a potentially decent British rider! I expect Sam to improve as the season progresses. Ive seen very little of him ride. Most of the pressure is going to fall on Freddie & JK. Be interesting to see how they ride together! Its not a bad team considering the amount of riders available. However, its not an immediately strong looking side.

For his sake I hope he isnt but he rode most of his meetings at number 3 which is why his ave is below 5. Pletntly of options for double uppers.

Jacob and Zengi would be my shout if PK and Wells are locked out due to the rules! It seems they should have gone with average weighting rather than this imo!

If Musielak rides hes will probably be classed as a heatleader too. He signed on a 6.5 ave as our 3rd heatleader.

Surprised Bees didnt wait to see who was left out from other teams. King being a heatleader & a du rider makes his signing a pretty limited option.
