Eric was a real talent, but he went into the EL far too early. Shame Steve Evans can't get him out of retirement. Could ride as a Brit as his mother is English!

U21 World Team Cup - British Team Selection
superguest replied to RPNY's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
The team selected shows how bad Junior speedway is in this country. As far as I can tell there are only 9 under 21's in the PL, With just 2 in the EL. Tai Woffinden Lewis Bridger Kyle Newman Kyle Hughes Joe Haines Paul Starke Jerran Hart Josh Auty Kyle Howarth Steven Worrall Simon Lambert Compare that to Poland, and you can see why were struggling so badly. More Brits needed for sure. -
I wouldn't be welcome in my local pub if I was ever seen supporting the 'Spoon's I hope they do well, but come play off times will be cheering for Buxton!

BFD, I really don't see any of the usual complaits about Aussie's in the NL. There's complaits towards the BSPA for possibly allowing at least one rider to ride illegally. All those who have posted, have hoped that this is not the case because it may impact the rider at a latter stage getting a visa over here and the general intergrity of the sport. One person has mentioned Milldenhall closing down as the reason for Tim Webster losing his place rather than because of an Aussie. Anyway, I hope the Hornets maintain as strong as possible to defeat Dudley!

Sgp Challenge Final

Would be totally found out at GP level. I hope for his sake he doesn't qualify, it'll ruin his confidence. -
Freddie isn't a great gater, and he lacks speed on the big tracks. Notice how he's OK at Cardiff? You're so disrespectful to some great riders, it's so hard at this level, and each season 7 riders do have to fail!

Gollob Crump Hampel Holta Holder Hancock Andersen Jonsson -------- Kolodziej Iversen Walasek --------- Woffinden or Lindgren N Pedersen Harris Sayfutdinov
-
What engines does Holta use? He always looks 10mph faster than everyone else.

Come on 21st, he's only a kid! Far more experienced rider suffer the big home and away divide!

Great to see the Yanks are returning. I love watching these guys race, especially Eddie! -
I'd have excluded both riders personally. Do these riders have history? The way THJ hit his head on the floor was painful to view!

Dudley Heathens Vs. Scunthorpe Saints - Tuesday 27th July
superguest replied to willp's topic in National League Speedway
Fair play to Scunny for bringing through more riders at NL level. It's good to see Dudley are getting the crowds in and are bringing along some talent too! -

JD passed Batch on the inside and Tai cut under Holder... But don't worry, Keep Stiring -
Agree, although I wanted Ty Proctor to be given a ride as he is a bit of a track specialist at Kings Lynn which is not surprising given his style. Shields and Adams in for Ward and Schlien?

Heat 22 was Freddie at his best, no hard elbows or riding out of control, just swept by everyone. His race with Harris was pretty good too. The track prep suited him, shame about the re-run of heat 1! I thought Jonas was brilliant. He has so much talent, he seems to step up in the SWC. And many thanks for beating Holder in heat 23 -
New Swc Format Needed?

They won it with David Ruud in his place at Poole in 2004! -

Disappointing World Cup?

I think the top riders just welcome the week's break they get from SWC week. -

So out of this lot who are the Aussie's going to go with? Chris Holder Davey Watt Adam Shields Rory Schlien Troy Batchelor Darcy Ward Ty Proctor Kevin Doolan -
Nicolai was injured last week so why he was considered for this fixture is rather bizzare. Shame for Klyma, he would have cleaned up at reserve!
