  1. Can anyone send me a link please. Much appreciated.
  2. Nelson and Ingalls have permits but not Visas I believe!
  3. I can't believe anyone actually buys it though. Heart attack waiting to happen!
  4. At least if its shown at 3am, we won't get interputed by Tennis or spanish football as came the norm last year!
  5. Bjerre apparently is going to ride for Wroclaw. What this will mean for Freddie I don't know...
  6. I'd recommend Poznan in Poland for a night or two, then a trip to Leszno for the speedway. Plenty of stuff to do in Poland if you look for it. I went on many foreign speedway trip when I was 2-6 years old. Lots of train rides and beer cellers!
  7. Have to admit the Saints management are a breath of fresh air. They give new riders a chance even if it weakens the team. The fact that they have managed to be successful every two years shows its a strategy that works well. In a few years time, all the best British riders will be owned by Scunny! They could enter in all three leagues

  9. Would love Jarek or AJ to clinch a title. Can't say Greg does anything for me, but fairplay to him for 2011. An outstanding year in general, not just the SGP. I'm gonna predict.... 1. Hampel 2. Emil 3. AJ 4. Hancock 5. Gollob 6. Holder 7. Crump 8. Pedersen So to answer the orignal question, yes I think the 'Old guard will start to slip in 2012'. But they'll all be in the top 8.
  10. From what I saw of him, he was better than average, but not sensational like Heeps. However, you never know how they will adapt to the higher level. Good luck to Micky @ armadale either way!
  11. Yes Matt, run by different but equally committed parties. Hope to see Rocco, Raines and Green back if possible!
  12. Its more about the cost of paying for 8 teams (5 riders each) than about the format. Ideally we'd have proper meetings with 7 vs 7 but it costs too much. The pairs would be a good addition, maybe before a GP round?
  13. Hi Ghostwalker, looking at Dackarnas team - what averages are they signing these guys on? On the SVEMO website there is two averages - Ing Sitt and Lop Sitt.
  14. Makes me feel old that! haha. So he'll be eligible to race in Europe when hes 15? 4 Years to go Arslan....
  15. Just watched a video on his website, http://arslanracing.com/krasnokamskvideo ..... The doctors didn't seem to do anything to help the two fallen riders! As for Arslan... He has a great style and has to be the cutest speedway rider ever! He looks about 10?
  16. Depends if the wage cap includes sign on fees or not..if it did I doubt they'd support it.
  17. Until the riders stop asking for stupid money, they will have to make tough choices. Take Jason Crump, who it was rumoured to be being paid £1,000 a point in 2011 - now suddenly his club can ask him to take a pay cut because there will be 5 riders looking for a new team place. It also means the GP organisers have to pay their riders more, if they want them to stay in the series.
  18. It is no surprise that Ward is thinking of his future. The riders who seem to be successful in the GP are those with strong and stable back up teams, plus a lot of money. I personally think Greg spent a fortune this year in order to win the big prize having earnt enough to set him and his family for life. However without Ward, the series will struggle as I think besides Holder, Emil and Nicki - Harris & AJ when on form, the rest are hardly the most exiting. Plus Ward is also wondering whether he wants that much pressure on his shoulders in just his 4th year. One of the reasons IMO young riders who burst on the scene end up flattering to deiceve is the realisation that speedway is now their job, not something they happened to be good at. IMO Ward doesn't need to rush, and should enjoy the winter off and look at the possibiies in his pit crew and see if he can do it.
  19. You have to remember, Harris and Lindgren ride all over the place. Its very hard for them to compete in the qualifiers without missing league meetings or they won't get any time to rest during the season. Personally I wish the Grand Prix challenge included riders 9-15 in the current field and then the top 5 from the two semi finals.
  20. It is a coincidence that the successful Grand Prix riders are old riders with big back up teams, or young riders with full sponsorship deals enabling them to just ride the bike with no worry?
  21. Howarth Ritchings Birks Garrity Branford Serjeant Heeps
