Agree Garf most English people cannot criticise the foreign Riders about the use of English. I have no problem with Niki as a person (just as a rider) -

For TV Niki is the best thing since sliced bread (I think Niki watches to much TV) As for the sport, Niki needs to take stock before he 'Kills' somone at the end of the day it's only a sport, most riders have confidance in the other bloke with the exception of Niki! -

IMHO only 1 brit worth his place in the championship and it is a poor state of affairs when there is not a British rider in with a hope of wining the world crown! Perhaps as a sport we should do somthing to promote British riders ! As for the Final Crump rode his luck B Pederson Rode well on a track that suited the Danes Trick what can I say (The best rider I have ever seen) Niki a liability. -
This Gp Track Is Rubbish

Andy where did you buy your Rose tinted specs! For fair riding look no further than Greg Hancock, Just watched it on tape and Crump was very hard with similar moves in his first and last rides. A similar move by Niki and all hell would have broken loose. IMO not a lot of differance between the two of them. Double standards in my opinion! (then I am not a crump fan). -
Did you see the loss Norman!

As Norbold says Dave did not promote "the ammres" in 65 and I am afraid I seem to have no pleasant memories of him, from my time at custom house! All I have is an unpleasant name inked in on the top of a picture of him from that time! I was young and hard to please! Now Tommy price, thats another story!

Just catching up! Sitting at the puter after a couple of tins and felt it all seemed a bit pointless! Bit like my post I suppose as I seem to have started it all of again!

Yes, it was called bubblegum music. Buddha Records were West Ham's sponsors in 1969, so all the music played was from their Kasenetz Katz LPs (as we used to call albums in those days). The groups included 1910 Fruitgum Co., Ohio Express and the Rock 'N' Roll Dubble Bubble Trading Card Company of Philadelphia 1914 amongst others, who all joined together in one super group called Kasenetz Katz Singing Orchestral Circus. 1910 Fruitgum Company's big hit was Simon Says. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I was only 13 at the time so the memory is a bit vaugue I have been looking for some music for my website ? Now that's a thought
