  8. I can't remember my first meeting but i started going to West Ham in the 1965 season, when I was 9, but only for a few meetings I went to most of the home meetings in 1966 ! I can rember standing on the back straight and tucking into enormous great hot dogs between races. My most vivid memory of that time, was the night Dave Wills Died from what was a silly accident :x and think I can still remember him waving as he was put in the ambulance. What a tragedy :-( I used to watch from the back straight until the stand was knocked down and I still watch from there at Arena ! I wish there was a Stadium like Custom House now :!: I Saw it towards the end of it's life, but I would have loved to have seen it at its peak with 70000 + and no parking problems

  13. Im not trying to make excusses just find answers, I think I too have been guilty of a few innocent wind ups which in hindsite where unwise, thats me but we do seem to be going over the same ground. By keep raking it up is'nt helping matters! That said thats the last i,ll say on the matter :!: Appart from let the mods do there job Now can we all get back to some serious posting :!:
  14. Again Krisse, all the Mods do a great job and somtimes it must be a pain ! all I would say is dont let the bu**ers get you down. It would be such a shame. Most of the banter on here is good humoured, but somtimes some people overstep the mark. Perhaps we have just defined some boundries thats all. To all those posting including me, give the mods a break !

  20. I hope iv'e got this right :!: I do feel that there are some extenuating circumstances perhaps :!: D/D does tend to let his tounge rule his head wich he has regreted in the past hence his signature ! I think we also got D/D on a bad night and one or two of us wound him up and he fired the bullets all in all I think its best we let the situation calm down for a while Now can anyone remined me what the subject was as iv'e forgotten
