In today's Speedway Star it says that Kennett is seeded into the GP Qualifier - although he only finished 7th behind Smith and Lanham. I can see Middleditch's reasoning re: Andy Smith but what about Lanham. He's ridden his socks off this year and deserves the chance to qualify. It seems that rules are being bent(once again) to suit Kennett - as they were last year when the rules were bent to get him into the British Final.
