I've just looked at the table and the race points difference between Wolves and Leicester is 29 not 4 so stevebrum couldn't even get that right. I beginning to feel like a sucker having been taken in by him. You live a learn.

It was going to be tier ones do two years then everybody moves up one but this is Steve Worralls first year as tier one and no way will he be allowed to do another. Also Auty won't be back as that would open the door for Richie to come back and again the powers that be won't allow it. Up The Aces! -
You said they are four points in front so that makes you equal. If someone was four inches taller than you would you say they are the same size? We are not talking about the general feeling as to how the season had gone we are talking points on the board. YOU ARE NOT EQUAL! You keep posting wrong things and instead of holding your hands up you just keep on making yourself look a dick.
-
OK, I think I get it now. A 4 points swing counts at the top of the league to determine placings but not at the bottom where teams remain equal. Jesus Christ!!
-
No you didn't.
-
FFS. So if this 4 point swing happened in the old days before the play offs with Wolves and the Lions at the top they would share the winners trophy as according to you both are equal???? Talk about seeing something that isn't there. Incredible.

You used the term British Speedway as a whole and didn't imply you were cherry picking certain clubs. Still, if promotors see that some fans think the sport had been saved then they will carry on as per. -

I said "if". If you didn't mean it that way just say so. -
Coventry is nearer.

I think it was his league meetings abroad that bugged people, not the GP. -
Don't be so pessimistic. There is every chance you will beat Coventry.

If that's a pop at Zagar for missing meetings injured after winning the last GP, well it's just a bit sick. He explained in the press how his tight race suit plus the adrenalin pumping meant he was unaware of the full extent of his injuries. He has even posted x-rays showing his internal bleeding. Comments like this come over as just plain nasty especially coming from someone who supported a rider who gave GB a miss, whilst riding everywhere else, because he was tired. Take that benevolent approach and apply it to cases like Zagars rather than playing favourites and losing all credibility. -

He wasn't. He described a scenario where an injured rider returns to action and then becomes injured again or aggravates the previous injury - say like Josh Auty did. Should a facility be granted? Yes no question, clearly. -

If you're describing British speedway in its present state as being the recipient of some great saviour then you genuinely have lost the plot. -
He goes in the our village pub. If you shout "it's christmas" at him, even at Christmas he gives you an angry look, a bit like the Wolves fans tonight.

IF we've lost another heat leader, I think we should make a signing at 1. Who can we get with 9.27 to play with.? -
Richie Worrall (the Future Of Speedway)
ouch replied to topaz325's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
I'm hoping Lakeside stick with Richard Lawson. He's average is 5.54 and when Richie finished on 5.53 he didn't get an EL spot. We need to persevere with these lads especially when you think that Lawson was signed on a 4.80 average and has improved by 0.74. Carswell has influenced things as he was instrumental in us signing Fricke whereas I think the other two would have had Richie in the side. -
If the Aces make them then looking at the top six riders from play off teams, half are from Belle Vue.

Coventry V Swindon - Wednesday 2nd September
ouch replied to NeilWatson's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
If there is a technological solution to these starting issues it needs to be adopted as the continual restarts very much get on people's nerves. Also refs do seem to have favourites who they keep an eye on thus missing the other participants. The other thing refs appear to do is make a wrong call, then make a wrong call to the other team to compensate which again is a pain on the arse. I watched a couple of starts that where pulled back in Sky box slo mo whilst the broadcast itself was showing a slo mo so it was super slow and it showed me that the tapes moved before the rider, they were just very good starts. -

Belle Vue wanted it put back years ago and they also requested more time to run their KO Cup ties - the answer was no. -

The annoying problem with The Aces and they have done this for years even when at the foot of the table, is their capacity to be just bad enough to miss out on match points. In seven matches this year if they had scored just nine well placed race points they would have a further nine match points. The nine race points would make little to no difference to the team average but those match points would see us battling for first not sweating on fourth. I'd love to knowvif other teams have such a ratio of race to match points lost, to such a degree as us. -
