  1. Depends really, if you look at the basics he's very boring but take the top 25% of his less boring posts and he comes out 48% less boring than originally thought. If compared to the top 9% of really boring posters then he weirdly comes out 1% interesting but that's only when taking into account away performances, at home he's consistently boring. Imo if he couldn't post and Lindgren had to post in his place then Freddie would be more boring, away but not at home. I'm not counting were he was paid for being boring but wasn't.
  2. I think that's a whoosh for you Fred as I think Haza was kidding.
  3. The Aces ride on Saturday, be interesting to see how it goes attendance wise for us.
  4. That's a cert, with Chapman in charge the stars are in for a successful season in 17. Same s*^% different faces.
  5. The Lions have got PL written all over them next year. I don't think their fans are EL snobs and if anything crowds would go up. Really the only difference now is a top liner instead of a 3 point newbie, after that EL & PL are very similar.
  6. Bad luck for The Aces but a point never the less so that's more points on the road than any other team currently. Hopefully the luck will come back one day. Decent result for both teams, as I've said before I'd rather lose to the bees and have them here than the unthinkable alternative. Should be close on Monday with KK loving it.
  7. Bad result all round. Another nail for the EL Lions and a result that won't have the Hammers fans in any rush to return. The scores need to be close down there to maintain any kind of interest due to the racing on offer. Fingers crossed for both.
  8. It's offset by having Kacper as reserve who will definitely take 6 or 7 rides. He's averaged 4 in the 1-5 whilst Bates averaged about that at reserve so I'm sure SCB has a weighted calc for us to explain exactly how much stronger the bees are.
  9. Freddie had ridden just three matches at number four and in each one he has ridden in heat fifteen, a hard race. Due to this small amount of fixtures, he has ridden a small percentage of "easier" heats than KK and nowhere near enough to account for his higher average. Comparing Newman and Harris to KK and Freddie shows a massive misunderstanding of the situation.
  10. Sorry forgot to mention that out of all Wolves matches (8) Freddie has ridden three in the number four race jacket. It certainly helped bolster his average when two of those were away against the bees. Out of ten rides he only dropped one point to a bees rider.
  11. KK Home 8.63 Away 7.71. Overall 8.35 FL Home 9.71. Away 9.76. Overall 9.74 Source. Speedway Star May 28, 2016
  12. So in other words what the person standing next to you on the terraces says suddenly becomes fact in your eyes then? Sorry mate you don't need to answer, I'm just being mischievous. Hoping for an above average score though.
  13. With regards BV and Adam, if someone has a link because it's not one that I have read.Without an official link confirming then it remains and stays as gossip or assumption.
  14. You're correct and if not already with us they should be here anytime. I'm sure there will be photos etc when they first get used.
  15. Maybe they should have used the leaky pipe excuse rather than digging up the track as that has subsequently put riders at risk. The only risk with a made up flood is a fine and points deducted but then that wouldn't apply to poole. Should have gone with the (leaky) pipedream which coincidently is where their championship hopes currently lie. On another note, can you buy tickets online for the Kyle Newman farewell in October?
  16. Turned out to be a good finish racing wise after around 9 races of usual gate and go poole fare. Up to that point we had The Aces pass Jonas on what looked like a slow (ailing?) motor and the Gp leader plus Pooles greatest rider pass the Worrall twins, our current and future reserve riders. The dirt moved out and the tricky conditions meant throttle & bottle were the order of the day. This played right into The Aces hands against their FTG opponents. I'm old school and don't mind a tricky track and maybe we should be asking that riders adapt themselves and their machines to cope better with this kind of tracks and thus provide us with a higher level of entertainment. A regular poole track would have seen, say Howarth pop out of the start and win handsomely but deep down do you want that - really?
  17. I take it back it's a great race track. The way the current world GP leader past our young reserve was great. You can't take your eyes of this!! Ha Ha
  18. Can't see the eight man Poole team losing this now. At least the racings good lol.
  19. Poole losing and suddenly the ref starts helping them out. Surprise suprise.
  20. The Aces haven't got the gating boots sorted yet and that is so important down there so I see a decent win for Poole but a poor match for tv. Wolves number one ( I think he's been replaced by Freddie now due to his easier rides as a second string) in place of a lad who couldn't make the heat leader list is a BIG plus for the pirates and makes things way way easier for them. I think The Aces should wear goggles on parade or when interviewed on sky in reference to last years cheating. We need more banter in speedway to spice things up.
  21. BSPA shouldn't have ruled the way they did especially as this situation is covered by the rule book satisfactorily already. It's another indicator of Chapmans bent as hell reign as chairman. He really needs to go and go soon. Imo the Brummies are strong enough to sign the kind of rider the NL should be catering to and not looking to an established old hand to fill the void. Being a stand alone club I know their need to win is greater than some but the spirit of this league should not be forgotten.
