  1. If he's concentrating on his BSPA chairman work I sudder to think what it would be like if he took his eye off it. Thinking about it though, it couldn't be any worse.
  2. What you're saying our lot go passed on the inside - at Monmore. How strange. 🤔
  3. That's fine too, a bit of comedy booing never did any harm especially if the "villain" plays up to it. Whilst I'm not advocating WWE style behaviour a bit of afters or banter all adds to the package imo.
  4. When it's as close as last night it's all ifs buts and maybes. I think the ref swung itbut tbh both sets of fans probably went home happy and you can't say that very often.
  5. I think it should be compulsory for the winner to go round acknowledging the crowd. It's part of the show.
  6. Belle Vue were done and dusted just after 9 on Friday. Even if it's a mundane match it certainly helps if the meeting skips along. It's a pet hate of mine having delays between heats.
  7. Maybe it's being done alphabetically, first Belle Vue then Berwick..... Lol.
  8. I agree with the last bit. We regularly have to put up with some frankly baffling fixture planning that are no way a coincidence. The other thing is when we try to rearrange nobody wants to know.
  9. Indeed, when you use this years averages that give a better indicator of form than rolling averages and not counting Steves over inflated reserve figure then we go into this fixture without our top two with nearly half the rides being covered by reserves. Stitched up again.
  10. Last two visits, 1 point when he had a strop similar to when he scored 4 at Lynn around that time (he had a bollocking for those and he has put a lid on these strops) and 9+1. If you're going to pick one bad performance as being typical then you're wide of the mark. Your thoughts on Max would be appreciated.
  11. Crafty Belle Vue missing a top GP rider in Zagar and the lad many are tipping to be the next U21 World Champion to be replaced by Harris and reserves respectively. We'll be saying riders are injured next when in fact they have ditched us. This happened to us I forget where but it involved Lung and Pedersen.
  12. I'm gobsmacked that the fixture planner arranges a clash between the Solvenian championship and the only team to have a Solvenian in it - 3 times!
  13. Other than Belle Vue and Berwick who else has a formal system of allowing ex team members in for free? Belle Vue also offer discounted admission to those accompanying the ex rider.
  14. From the start of the season to the cut off date it's 26 weeks less one for the SWC and being kind two rain offs means we either have a smaller league or only meet once.
  15. Especially when it's all about the race to come first.
  16. Doesn't Hancock have the European distribution rights for Monster? I'm sure it's one of his business interests outside speedway.
  17. I like Richie but I don't like the look of his brother.
  18. No Buster said that, take it up with him. So the boneheaded decisions were only rubber stamped once Buster was chairman at the final AGM. But Buster used the word before. He's probably cleared things up with you personally after you took him to task for using that word incorrectly.
  19. To say it doesn't say that at all and then quote him saying just that is idiotic. Why are you adding words to what he said? There is no need to, other than to fabricate a meaning that you're happy with. If you don't like the way he tells it take it up with him. Don't shoot the messenger!
  20. The bit I found interesting was where he said he took over the chair BEFORE the AGM.
  21. Chapman is the no nonsense straight talking outspoken kind of guy who will sort out this mess that is UK speedway. Its blokes like him we needed in the boardroom when all these stupid rules were being voted through. A no nonsense straight talking outspoken kind of guy would have told them where to go.
  22. How many B fixtures have been run so far?
  23. Whilst that is the case, it's the fact that a press stating Kerr has been dropped to make way for Barker could lead people to believe Kerr is no longer an Ipswich rider. Maybe time the press release differently or reference the timetable for the prospective moves.
