  1. The only thing soft that afternoon was your head mate. 😂😂
  2. So you think that everything the previous promotion paid for on the run up to the stadium opening should be given away free? The rider assets weren't liquidated to pay speedway debt so that value still belonged to the old promotion. Why am I having to type this? You cannot be that stupid. Before rushing to have a dig just think first or pm me and I can save you looking ridiculous.
  3. Pointless thread. Don't you people know how the modern system works. Unbelievable!
  4. Does anyone know what Buster did with the bond and Aces cut of the Sky money as it didn't go to the riders? GTR, polydactyly op or clothes pegs?
  5. Whilst envy and greed have always been part of Chapman's make up the powers that be made a fatal error in completing the triangle with power when they mistakenly made him chairman. Whilst we're all aware what's gone on at Leicester and the recent engines deal the situation at the NSS has been far more involved and damaging. Had he not plotted with the council in an effort to gain control then the winter for The Aces would have passed like any other as far as us fans would have been aware. Pairman would have taken over from the retiring David Gordon, a plan agreed months before it was due to take place. This would have allowed riders and other speedway related payments to be made. The team would have been in place allowing both them and the club to work on sponsors, practice events would have run over the winter together with fans nights in the Craven suit and maybe even the hoped for Xmas cracker meeting. The website would have continued to be updated and, with no bad press on all media outlets tainting the club it would have been business as usual. The dispute would have continued with the council over the payment responsibilities of many different contracts but that's all back room stuff and would have reached some kind of resolution, indeed a meeting was in the diary for late October to achieve this. Alas it wasn't to be due to the actions of one man. Pairman attended the AGM to have his new role rubber stamped but Chapman refused to see him, favouring his own route. The damage to Belle Vue speedway is massive and we've lost the long term plan set in place to ensure a solid foundation for the club to prosper in favour of your regular paying tenant season to season existence. Only lucky heather will save us now so maybe time to give Buster a call.
  6. Attack the post not the poster. You've not responded to any point I've made even when I'm only referencing information already out there. Your doing the social media equivalent of sticking your fingers in your ears while shouting na na na! This is a shame as I'd genuinely like to know yours and other people's thoughts on these published stories as I think this kind of thing effects the sport as a whole. Isn't that what the BSF is for?
  7. How can it be made up news when there are links?I no (sic) news that has been published and can provide links. You however have provided absolutely nothing to back up what you say. What's pml? If you mean PMSL then it's a bit sad you find it funny trolling a thread when you have absolutely nothing to contribute save for saying you're not sure about something. I'm not sure where the Aces bond or Sky money from November is as it's certainly not been used to pay the riders as in previous years. I'm not sure where the money came from to pay GTR. I'm not sure what Buster got out of the deal. I'm not sure why you cannot clear everything up by speaking to Buster and reporting back here.
  8. I answered your questions you dodged mine or you are just plain ignorant. Either way you are a waste of space. I'm on hols so I am enjoying my day, sunbeam.
  9. "I cannot give links about the pikey and calls information so your welcome to discount that if you insist. I cannot provide a link to Busters poaching but it must be fairly easy for you to clarify these issues with your promoter and report back"? Did you not read the above in my last post?? The fact you cannot take in information presented to you explains the lack of understanding in your first post. Speak to your promoter about the above and get back to me, oh and maybe reread this a few times so as not to waste people's time on here with silly questions.
  10. Buster announced days after annulling the old Aces promotion that they would be racing in the top flight. I can find the link if you insist. There had been no time for a bid other than Busters to have been formulated and presented at the time of this announcement. It could be measured in hours. We still await an announcement on new owners as MCC didn't take up the offer from Busters lot. Common knowledge but I'm sure I could piece this together from information on the BSPA website, if you insist. In this weeks Star David Gordon mention Pairmans first take over attempt being refused. I'd have to scan the article to show you this, if you insist. Gordon Pairman put out a press release at the time he abandoned his second bid with a very unambiguous pop at the BSPA which I can find a link for if you insist. I cannot give links about the pikey and calls information so your welcome to discount that if you insist. There have been articles in the Star from various sources that mention this ring fenced arrangement. I could provide links if you insist. Richie Worrall states he is not in the team despite assurances to the contrary from obviously the wrong people. I can provide a link if you insist. I cannot provide a link to Busters poaching but it must be fairly easy for you to clarify these issues with your promoter and report back? I have to say, you really should be aware of the information that is out there before posting in the manner you did.
  11. Buster was convinced that his preferred consortium, with him exercising control from the shadows, was going to take over at the NSS. This was the reason he ring fenced riders. MCC thought he was a pikey and refused his bid. He then spat his dummy out and placed obstacles in front of Pairmans second attempt to take over. He also refused to discuss this bid with MCC by not taking or returning their calls. He never lifted this gentlemans agreement though once he knew his bid would fail he tried to sign Cook & Fricke. The problem for Aces riders was that the wrong people were offering assurances for this coming season.
  12. Interesting that the pitch usage was mentioned. Following the charity match at the test event the pitch couldn't be used again as the contractor ISG had incorrectly installed a concrete kerb around the perimeter. Aces fans might recall turning up for a meeting and seeing the black granules that made up part of the pitch in a clearly visible band around the pitch. This was following the repair to the pitch in August that only then allowed BVA to hire it out, which they did but too little to late. The roof over the Craven suit also leaked badly and this affected the potential to gain revenue from hiring this out. As far as I know the roof is still leaking.
  13. Awful post. I'd rather go through what DG and CM went through to get the NSS. This small minded can't do, sink into the shadows mentality is not for me. I'd love to see a collective of your sort present the Olympic Games opening ceremony. Slipping on a dog turd outside McDonalds whilst complaining about about the lateness of the night bus, to a tune of the latest X factor semi finalist. What a world you live in.
  14. Tell you what, just give me half of 0.001% of those and I'll endeavour to answer them.
  15. David Gordon was probably informed on the day in the same manner as that recorded by Rachel. Namely. If we had any issues during the meeting, he (Colin) had sufficient equipment and staff that he could very quickly bring the rollers onto the track between each heat if necessary. I walked around the track with the riders to gauge their feelings. Although there were a few concerns, the was no direct negativity and I chatted to a couple of them about grading between every heat if necessary and they all seemed relatively settled. Later that afternoon it read..... At this point I did not think that there was a real threat that the riders would not ride the track. Later on that evening when environmental conditions changed the minor issues became major.
  16. It doesn't matter what Lemon discussed with any rider as we currently have nothing official in place with regards owners or who is responsible for what. It got a little more concrete recently and that probably prompted Richie's post. The fact is over the last few months all sorts have been posturing about running Belle Vue. Someone from a failed bid group even contacted Joe Screen about being manager so this demonstrates the level of uncertainty until recently.
  17. Definitely be buying a copy as I've been waiting for the councils view. An in depth rebuke, point by point of the allegations from Belle Vue will go a long way to ending this sorry tale. There's always two sides and the Aces have put thee case quite forcibly so to see each issue dealt with by the council could be quite scathing of the Aces management.
  18. MCC had the own Construction Engineer and Project manager overseeing works as they were the ones paying ISG. Belle Vue had little to no rights when it came to inspecting and commenting on the build. I could be wrong but I don't believe the CEO, directors, chairman etc stand on a daily basis watching the construction of their latest venue as it comes out of the ground. They delegate or employ contractors or sub contractors to carry out the work on their behalf. At least that was my understanding until now. Similarly, when the government get round to building all these new rental properties we hear about I now know that prospective tenants can have free access to the build and pass judgment as they see fit. Every day is a learning day they say.
  19. "He knew it was going to happen" "Decided to muddle through" "Botched business plan led to poor decision making"
  20. FFS! Dave Gordon was always going to retire at seasons end and be replaced by Gordon Pairman. Buster scuppered this. Have you not been following all this on here and social media? Ignorance is no longer an excuse for posting BS when all the information is out there. It's fine if you don't like Belle Vue or its promotion but don't try and validate your opinion with outdated rubbish, lies and insults.
  21. A post about KK and Cook in the top flight and Cook is the journeyman. 😂
  22. Taken from press release 06/04/17. With the forecast in their favour, and a successful practice under their belt, the Rentruck Aces are particularly eager to entertain their home crowd having last done so in the 2015 EL Grand Final. Team boss Mark Lemon, who meticulously watched over Wednesdays closed-doors session, says the increasing anticipation for this meeting is making his squad all the more feisty in the build up. He said: Any doubts over the condition of the track have been put to bed in the wake of todays closed practice. The boys had a good session and are exceptionally keen to get things moving. End. Following this the track was extensively worked on and it was another month before a meeting successfully ran. Practise wasn't the issue nor was the "expert" opinion pre GOM as the problem was utterly unique and incredibly difficult to identify and resolve.
  23. Or to put it another way. Your honour I think we can disregard the defences case as they are "a bit thick". Theirs alot two discus bout this arttickle grandma no bin 1 of those.
  24. I thought he was replacing Zagar but from what you say Zagar is staying put. Interesting.
  25. "New East Manchester had forwarded the Belle Vue business plan to top business planners KPMG who had given it their approval" Only the covenant (another MCC cock up) was to be paid over a shorter time frame. Still didn't help and would have formed part of the November discussion that was sadly prevented from taking place by Buster. Whilst I appreciate people's point of view that DG & CM should have called off the SWC and halted the Aces season to limit further debt, imo it was better, with agreement to continue until season's end before sorting everything out with MCC,as was the plan. Just my opinion as I say.
