Excellent that and it saves money as well.

Probably not the best team to pick to make a point given how Belle Vue run their teams but in general you're correct about other teams hiring and firing without any loyalty shown

Lee didn't blame the track as he didn't need to. After his first race retirement he only dropped a point until his last ride where he was happy to sit in third to secure the three match points after Davey got spat off. It was our two 15 year old reserves that struggled, understandably. They need to experience tracks like this during their speedway education. They can probably take some solace in the fact that Stokes 1 & 3 also experienced difficulties toward the end of the night. Enjoyable night with my only gripe being no programmes after 6.35. If anyone has one they don't want I'd happily call over and get it.

I'd say he didn't realise that Lee was eligible for R/R. He must have though Jack was third in our averages and not Rob. I would have checked before looking a chum in front of everyone. I can't think of anything else.

The Colts did their own impromptu victory parade by walking into the crowd to chat with fans, have photos and sign autographs. Well received by all. Malcolm didn't grab anyone, he just gestured to Lee and the referee. My opinion of Stoke as a venue is that as a sport beggars can't be chooses and I'd rather have them stage speedway than not. Having said that I think the track should be right whatever the surroundings.

Who would replace him?? -
All bar Dan can take his rides so we should be able to cover. Really looking forward to this tonight, it should be a cracker plus we've got MDL action in the second half.

Should be a good meeting with the Lions definitely in the mix. Pleased MTP is riding as he's one of my favourites. Never say die attitude and very entertaining. Hope they get a point but no more than that. -

A British speedway fan? -
Some tracks seem to think that two Brits per team is the maximum not minimum.

I thought it was a stock car track that ran speedway as a side line. Until you get an owner that puts speedway first again then nothing will change. There's just not the interest in speedway, it's more about the money and not just 10% either. -
I've said for years now that any rider in my team that gets passed, up the inside, by the opposition, at Monmore, will be fined. It is irrelevant what my home track is, if I've been dissatisfied by the racing on offer I say so whether it's my track or any other. Having said that I've kind of given up as it changed nowt and if the home fans are happy then fine. Wolves for me is about a 20mins longer journey time than Belle Vue, in years gone by I would go when the Aces are there, for open meetings and when the fancied team or world champ are in town. I don't visit Wolves or any other top league track anymore so now see about a third of the meetings I use to attend. Pleased The Aces got a point as that's the game plan. Win at home pick up a point at all away meetings then plan for the playoffs. 56 points should get you in the top half of the table.

That's a bit Rich. Probably a smoke Screen.

Poole very lucky again. Too much from the gate looking at the updates and that's manner from heaven for the pirates. Doyle will have trimmed 3-4 points off his average by the time they come out. -

Leicester had a facility granted to cover for Riss That decision was confirmed by the SCB in the morning of the meeting and was still valid. -
Confused?

If it had been another team attempting to use Morris or any other rider in similar circumstances, this thread would have been 30+ pages already. With the league being far more 'even' this year, the final playoff places may well rely on racepoints difference, so I hope Morris's scores from Friday are expunged!!

"If any breaking of the rules occur and the officials don't notice, then it's not cheating". Copywrite Poole fan October 2015. Nothing to see here move on. This was the battle of the gate and goers due to their respective tracks. Poole are better at it since they hone their skills at Wimborne Road. -
I'm not missing speedway at the NSS. I'd happily boycott away matches next month.

Belle Vue finished at 9.30.

Another superb meeting from the NSS. I feared the worst when Poole weren't gating as they're not exactly know for their passing prowess with their gate and go home circuit but thankfully they got their gating boots back on which led to some tremendous speedway as the Aces came through. I expected more than 21 from Max, Steve, Justin and Jack but when more than half your team is searching for set ups you need the other members to step up and they did with young Dan putting in a stunning debut, yes debut! Can't wait to see him once he get dialled in to his home circuit. Only gripe was me old Mar missed seeing the lads celebrating on their victory lap as she's not as nimble as she was and couldn't keep jumping to her feet as those around her did. The standing ovations, hand claps and cheering certainly creates a great atmosphere in the busy main stand, I'll just have to get her a stannah seat to life her up with all the rest of the revellers. Bring on Good Friday.

I hate unnecessarily delayed or drawn out meetings. I kind of got use to it but then I went to the Shane Parker farewell at Sheffield and actually noticed how quick and we'll run it was. I spoke with The Aces promotion and whether they listened to me or not meetings are run very well at Belle Vue time wise. I don't mind a delay if there's been a crash, the lads can take as long as they need but just waiting around without any explanation does my head in. It's a little thing that goes a long way and doesn't cost them anything. The other thing with early finishes now at the NSS is you can stay for the MDL or rider press conference and still get home at a reasonable time.
