Kyle finished on 6.67. Still very impressive.

There is no logic. Richie was told 6.55 when we pointed out their mistake. The fact it’s not been made public baffles me along with all the other discrepancies this close season, the worst I can remember. Their mistake has probably cost Richie a top league team place. The sport is utterly bent with little sign of change.
-
Apart from his time at Belle Vue where he averaged over 7. Oops!

Richie is 6.55.

Fiddling while Rome burns........again.

Belle Vue had a very potent spearhead lined up in Bjerre and Cook but the rules were re written to block it. We turned to Zagar on his low average but again the rules were re written. Are you getting it yet? You have Holder coming back on a low average achieved with another club, all within the rules. A few years back we had the same thing with Jason Lyons, ironically he achieved his low average at Poole. Guess what, we couldn’t use him on that average as the rules were re written only to be re written again when it suited another club.
-
Not ever team could sign them on those averages.

Funny reading what Poole forumites think about the greats. Its like sitting in on the winos at the bus station talk about the best grape. Bless.
-
If the stars manage to replace a low scoring reserve with a 7.50 heat leader on a low average, get the rub of the green with some fixtures and meet a team in the final who are missing their two best riders, they might just do it. Stupid senario though so they’ve no chance.
-
If we attempted to sign Drozdz on a low average in years to come the authorities would stop it, much like Zagar this year. The irritation of seeing Poole given preferential treatment is only heightened by seeing us continually thwarted.

Please don’t put Pooles policy for success in the same basket as the Great Ace, Ivan Mauger. Not good, not good at all.
-
???? , I'm simply saying if you already know what you’re giving, why not just reveal it in one go?
-
That’s not what I asked.

My favourite away rider. Hope it’s sorted by March.

For Christmas at yours do all the kids presents go in one big box for them to open or is each item wrapped separately?
-
The trouble with Gavan and some others is they don’t realise when you’re pulling their chain. Someone says Morris is better than Kurtz in the UK and then backs it up with proof so as to wrap things up. Then someone, usually the same types argue for devilment even though it’s not a point for debate. Gavan takes it seriously and off we go. During my early years on the forum I got sucked in with this kind of thing as it never dawned on me people would be so odd. It still fascinates me somewhat that people like to behave that way. Like I say to my kids, the sooner you realise some people are dicks and not to engage them, the better your life will be.

He averaged over 7 for us and that included three trips to Wolves. If his form stood still he would put a point on his average, but it won’t so I’m expecting big things from him this season. Great news.
-
“Poole fans happy with Kurtz. Belle Vue fans happy with Tungate and a saving of the best part of two points. Who is the best deal?”
-
Not interested in a UK return which is a shame as his 7 point odd average would have made him an attractive addition to most starting line ups come March.
-
Well said. When we raced at the dogtrack people took great delight on knocking it even though more often than not the racing was good. Very similar to Wolves but as you say worth its place. Id rather take the opinion of Crump and the other great Aces that enjoyed the circuit rather than a handful of fans who just seemed to want to knock the great club.

Joe was at a similar low ebb after being ditched by Wolves and it especially hurt seeing three Brits replaced by two. He alway felt it was him that was replaced by a foreigner. He was pleased as punch when we offered him a full season and is baffled and none to pleased that no other top flight club was so benevolent towards him. He must be gutted that a lack of a team place in the CL means he cannot take advantage of Belle Vues back the Brits policy.
-
It was a great shame that the BSPA cut the points limit right back after we topped the league. I’m just please we managed to replaced our outgoing British reserves with two more Brits. I was looking forward to Joe returning this year but once it was clear he couldn’t make it pay without a CL place and none made an offer the chance was gone. It needs more teams to back the Brits to make it work. It’s a shame we don’t own a CL club. Best of luck Joe.

After the ventriloquist and before the meat raffle.

For me it’s about giving something back. Those blokes that gave up their time picking you out of the airfence or just stood holding a flag whilst you learned to slide a bike. I love seeing a lad succeed and to see them strut their stuff as a top liner after all those years is great. Whats the saying, be nice on your way up

That was our fault, sorry.
