About half the fixtures fall during school holidays and by adding in a couple of treat late nights you can still take kids to most fixtures.

If it helps Poole from going under then I’m with his decision to drop them.
-
I think there will be enough room for 500-1000 fans to get a view of the entire race. That’s all that is needed these days - unfortunately.
-
So called by Poole fans, lol. They are the Poole team of 21st century top level UK speedway. Knock yourselves out. Pmsl.
-
Drozdz has ridden for us. He got injured whilst riding for us.
-
2009. “I think he’s found his level in the NL”. 2012. “Cook is just a top tier second string, he’ll never be anything else”. 2014. “Did well to make the rostrum, he just doesn’t have the mentality or skill to clinch top spot”. (British Final) 2017. “Can’t see Cook troubling the scores today”. (GP challenge). 2018.............

Not speedway fans. Just trolls that hit various sites stirring it. Place on ignore as the only way to defeat them is not to feed them. Also there’s a good chance they are the same person.
-
They proved that a few years back when they were happy to use cheating as a bona fide method of winning. Funniest think the other year when they were called cheating scumbags they came back with, “ A, we’re not scumbags”! LOL
-
Ian would be turning in his grave if he knew of that comparison. He knew the rule book inside out and when he saw the video from the Poole get together where Ford and Russell were seen laughing following the quick re write of the rules to stop us using Jason on a low average (established at Poole), he formed an opinion then that never changed. “He wants to check the rule book lol” I’ll never forget that.

Quite fine. Concerning.

The theory put forward was that that CVS and Ford put out the rumour when in actual fact it was lack of funds. Wolves plight is well known and with the unaffordabilty of the team suits it seems money is also short at Poole. I know we can have some strong banter but I don’t want to see Poole fold. Signs aren’t good. I’m going to make the effort to visit in a couple of weeks as the opportunity to do this is slipping away.

Wrighty and Doyle had a terrific race. You wouldn’t think they were team mates. Great stuff.
-
I think it’s about the same as having a rider that shouldn’t be there leading the race by half a lap against his inexperienced opponents. I think your problem it you don’t like seeing a brummie half a lap behind but if it’s the opposition then tough. Time to move up a league and don’t the door hit you on your ass on the way out.

There was only one club due to sign a GP rider following a years absence.
-
Last year it was 2h 2a as per Max Clegg. Not seen any amendment.
-
Over the years Belle Vue have said no to riders either because they couldn’t justify or afford the cost. They have never needed to make up any excuse to hide a lack of finance indeed we are probably the most transparent club with regard to our financial standing.

The fact there is no rule now makes sense. Zagar tweeted he wanted to return and shortly after, this 9 point rule surfaced. Zagar (and Belle Vue) was informed of his inflated average, thus ending his proposed route back to the UK. Rival promoters started discussing the “rule” with fans to lend weight to its existence. Both at the time and subsequently I’ve been at a loss why Woffinden and the Pole were mentioned as being ruled out due to this reassessment when neither were ever coming back. Like I said as the top it now makes sense. An elaborate ruse to stop us including Zagar but a ruse never the less. Leason learned for us to check the paperwork next time rather than take things at face value. What has this “sport” finally come too?
-
The rule has never been published and Pairman recently said there is no rule despite promoters commenting on it at fan meetings. The wording of the rule would alter dependant on who’s asking anyway It was first mentioned the week after Zagar tweeted about returning (to Belle Vue). The promoters conference had taken place and a press release sent out detailing the changes but no mention of this until Zagar’s tweet. This kind of behaviour is driving the die hards away to the point we now have a dead sport. I just wish Ford had got into some other sport as he has killed speedway. It’s ok for him and a lot of the Poole fans on here, they can just move to another sport as their interest doesn’t go beyond “winning”. Real fans who haven’t already walked away due to Fords antics are left with next to nothing. Shame

Heat 12 tells you everything you need to know about tonight’s spectacle. -
Cheers. It must have come in last year and I missed it. In 2016 both Klindt and Swiderski were signed on sub 4.00 averages. I think Jye might be the first effected.
-
Looking at the Prem greensheets it seems the multiplyer between championship and premiership has changed. It’s a bit more fluid now rather that having one fixed figure. Mitchell 3.00 2.31 (1.3) Jye 5.06 4.00 (1.27) James 3.33 3.00 (1.11) Max 4.15 2.00 (2.08) Richie 9.13 6.55 (1.39)
-
They’ve put Jye average up to 4.00 for us too. Whilst I can understand them upping our averages, the increase to James is odd.

Are there any riders in the top tier shorter than Tungate & Bewley?
-
The rule (or non rule) was brought in solely to stop The Aces signing Zagar. Woffinden and the pole were never coming back though Ford expressed an interest in the pole before stating this "While he finished on 7.32 at Wolverhampton in 2014, it is usual that if a Grand Prix rider has been out of British speedway for three years, his average will be reassessed. Different to the Zagar situation. The reason for stopping Zagar? Cook Hougaard Fricke Tungate Zagar Smith Bewley

It’s Belle Vue they don’t like.
