When you have 13 or 14 riders in your “squad” team kevlars become an expensive item for an ailing sport. Ford knows multiple team changes wins trophies and the fact this practice, aided by the play off system, drives away fans means little to him or the non speedway fans that follow him. Sticks in my craw though to these types revel in the demise of our lovely sport. Your job is nearly done though, so well done. I just pity your next target.

None, but you need to direct this question to MCC together with your request for steps on the grass bank. While you’re at it ask about the bogs, permanent stands etc etc etc. Any H&S frustrations you have are felt ten fold by The Aces. Maybe MCC’s H&S guru doesn’t want people walking through car parks to get from one side to the other. It could be that stupid. Lol.

He chooses to walk up the grass bank, then complains about it. I’m sick of climbing the fence to get in at Monmore Green, especially with the barb wire and don’t get me started on using a ladder at Swindon, whilst carrying a baby.
-
Blocking the pathway built to take people to the grandstand is just stupid. I’ll see if they’ll clear it ready for next month.
-
I walk through a car park at every track and where the hell is this steep bank? Had a look on google maps and street view and I can’t find anything.
-
I think people will like it.
-
Just missing out on the play off then. Exciting season ahead.
-
If you attend all meetings in the main grandstand and purchase I programme then you save £67. Any extra Colts meetings would also be free so the potential saving goes up to £115.

I’d gladly give back any perceived good luck that has gone The Aces way as long as we give back the misfortune that has hit us over the decades. We’d have have far more trophies in the cabinet that our, admittedly impressive number.

I saved over £100 last year with my Aces season ticket and that’s when £100 was a lot of money.
-
Great, let us know how it goes.

Could you copy the content of the email on here and I’ll discuss it with him next time I see him?
-
Could you let us know the rider costs etc?

JURASSIC PARK!!

They might stop rolling averages again like last year, though they did reinstate them quickly once certain teams saw it benifited them. If this team switch happened it’s perfectly within the rules and something most teams did last year and other years.

Yep to the first bit, which is a shame given the perceived passion provided in posts A club constitution is a simple document that outlines its functions and the rules under which it will operate. Off the peg stuff and generally just a dotting of the i’s and crossing of the t’s exercise.

Meet three times a year at various locations. First should have been NSS but cancelled due to lack of interest from fans. No expenses to be paid. Consistution sorted by individual clubs No sure how well it will be received by the BSPA.

6th then.
-
It should have been Stars/Panthers/Witches in one group then Buster could have started penning his press release about how proud he was having a team qualify for the final.
-
He’s averaged around 7.30 away the last two seasons so I don’t see that changing much, maybe drop to 7. He didn’t get on with Leicester as a home track and only averaged 6. I’d be surprised if he hit a home average of 10 like he did at the NSS last time and if things are really bad he could drop a point off that so he’ll end up about 8 overall. Hope I’m wrong though and the Ace Kenneth returns.

those were the days, something to smile about.

I’m the same, can’t work out why more fans don’t visit the NSS on a regular basis. I’ll start off chewing the fat in the Craven suit before going round to the south stand for a mooch about. Viewing is great over there and you really feel close to the action. The same can be said of the main stand, if I’m in there I have a gander at the pits early on then take my seat near the start though I do like wandering over to bend four as there’s some terrific moves to see there. Can’t wait till March. -

You should try the NSS. -
Despite all the pages and pages of strong opinions on here there’s been little to no take up on this.

He’s not. There is no way we’ll see a successful new league structure put in place that will lead to a renaissance in the sport seeing it only second to football in terms of support. Unfortunately.
