  1. The other home loss was no slip up, it was a booby trap or buster trap. First league match where the luckless Aces get to track their starting 1-7. If luck evens out over the season as some suggest, we won’t lose again.
  2. This is for the entire season. Aces Under 12 free 12-17 £7 but it can work out as low as £2 if buying a family ticket. Colts Under 18 free.
  3. I couldn’t see any Poole fan needing to block someone, however speedway fans of other tracks have little alternative I’m afraid. Sad.
  4. I’ve unblocked everyone while I’m away. I’ve got the time to respond to posts no matter how nonsensical. When I have less time on my hands you’ll be back in the box.
  5. By jove I think you’ve got it!
  6. I save thousands not bothering with football. I’m just about to sign into their forum to let them know. £960???????
  7. I spend 71p a day watching The Aces, including programme. Dont wish to appear flash.
  8. How were they able to sign Nico (4.85) in place of Jonas (4.00)?
  9. Somerset could have made a double swap as they did when replacing Charles & Jonas. Is that too difficult a fact for you to understand? Why would Somerset say they were prevented signing Harris if it was just an averages thing? This is why Poole threads run on and on as the basics need to be explained again and again. Non speedway folk I know but Christ it’s hard work.
  10. Whether it’s 9/11, Tsumami, Katrina or Trump etc, it’s clear to see what makes the most column inches. Given your opinion that injured riders from other teams “reap what they sow” I’m not surprised you revel in disaster. Awful human being.
  11. We’ve been giggling about this post over breakfast, it’s class. You say Somerset where stopped from signing Harris as it would help them but Poole can sign him as it will er, weaken them or not help them. Funny, funny, funny, keep ‘em coming.
  12. With the recent signing of Summers and Harris on their latest Rye averages, I take it the Rye results were expunged.....ish .
  13. We knew this. Matt called the Rockets as soon as BMR asked for help. He put dibs on them and stopped Somerset signing him. Linus stood down, made me chuckle that one.
  14. How long do you think and inside source would remain an inside source if you ran off to print every time you put the ‘phone down on them? Inside sources allow you to question the official line when it’s trotted out and you know it’s untrue.
  15. I’m still surprised that fans won’t pay thirty odd pence a day on a magazine dedicated to a sport they love.
  16. The thing is it should or can work, only the people running it will prevent this. Realistically, I’m not confident.
  17. There is enough riders. We had uncompetitive races in the halcyon days of the 70’s as Mauger etc raced away from the oppositions reserves. Even worse they could do it in heat 8. We created rules to stop that and we recently had protected heats where only the administration of averages saw that not work correctly. If we know beforehand that lower league club will be shat on then create a system to stop it. The Aces always got the crappy end of the stick with rider control and we would again but if it suits the sport as a whole, bring it back. We don’t have the option to do nothing nor make minor tweaks here and there. A full and comprehensive relaunch or reboot as is the modern term is required.
  18. Do Wolves choose to race Monday/midweek or is it forced on them? Would they get bigger crowds on Friday/Saturday?
  19. Rather than knock the management for not signing a decent replacement for Kerr, let’s see a list from you guys, then we can all make a judgement on your judgment.
  20. This to me reads that had BMR been able to run as they wished they would have completed the season with all debts paid. How do others interpret it? “It is with great regret that the Rye House Rockets have been forced from the Premiership league following the cancellation of the meeting at home against Swindon on 27th June 2018 by the BSPA.Our proposal to the BSPA securing the future of the Rye House Rockets was categorically rejected. We would like to clarify that BMR Speedway Limited continues to operate and remains committed to seeing Speedway as a major part of the future at Rye House Stadium.”The future sees Speedway continuing at Rye House for the remainder of the season and forward into 2019. Updates will be provided on our website: www.ryehouserockets.co.
