As pleased I was with the win last night and the fact we made the play offs, by far the best thing is we have an extra meeting at this fabulous circuit and it’s on telly too.

Belle Vue v Somerset PL 5th September, 2018

That second paragraph is the wrongest thing I’ve ever read but then I know first hand what went on. This coupled with your opinion that we didn’t miss Dan shows a lack of understanding of our sport that is truly embarrassing. Voicing these idiotic ideas would be bad enough in a pub but to put them on a SPEEDWAY forum beggars belief. -
Mildenhall is a cup fixture. We have IOW on Friday to finish off our home league meetings. I still think we’ll miss out though.
-
Probably, it’s normally fine there.

Not according to the Stars info in their bumper pre season preview which states Friday In this instance for BSPA read the idiot Godfrey. He’s only now trotting this out to make himself look and feel better.

64? Did you mean 44?

I scratch my head when thinking about Richie. How you can have two literally identical riders with access to the same supply chain re equipment and tuners but perform so differently. I’ve toyed with the idea of having him back in the watered down league next year and partnering him with Steve. They are very close and could hopefully feed off each other. -

He’ll start on 8.84 next season. Still not bad and not 13 like some. -
Premiership, Championship, what's the difference?

Leicester ‘s team total for September is 37.62, multiply that by the PL/CL conversion rate and it gives a CL total of 48.91. The highest current CL team is Edinburgh with a total of 45.64 so not much in it. -

Poole do this, they first did it at a lowly Belle Vue many years ago. It’s a consequence of the play offs and serves to drive away the die hard fans, much like the chucking of early season fixture to help bolster the team. We really have the fans the sport deserves if you cannot see it. They could serve anything up to you guys and you’d just lap it up. -

Dan scored 14+2 in the 47-43 win last time. Considering his replacements on Monday fail to beat an opponent and gained only one point, you have to say we haven’t a cat in hells chance of winning this. -
You’ve got to go back to May to find the last time Schlein scored more than 8 from his first four rides. Some sort of luck is still with us. Even out my arse.

How was the racing? Updates read all FTG but I’d be interested in an honest opinion from speedway fans there. -
Keep checking my phone for an update, hope it’s positive news. A big knock for GB and Aces speedway. He does have seven months to recover and will only miss (for us anyway) four meetings plus KO Cup semi. I’ve always said The Aces will never win the play offs as our horrendous luck carries on throughout the season, no swings and roundabouts to see here. The rules were seen as a joke after Kennys injury cost us the title in 2005. Changes to the rules only saw the usual suspect clubs flout them so we saw another rewrite and low and behold who does it effect again? Aside from Wolves last year we’re the only club to be hit this way - again. Looking forward to next April and seeing super Dan around the NSS. Have a good Xmas everyone.

Maybe seed the Belgiums to plays off final?

Christ, this had taken a dark turn since I last looked in. I was going to add my bit about super Dan but I’ll not bother now for fear of being insulted. For what it’s worth I think anyone should be able to compare any two speedway riders on a speedway forum without fear of abuse.

I never have an issue with guests replacing injured riders as I cannot think of an affordable alternative save for R/R. -
Never forget the climax to the 2005 U21 World Final. Still sends shivers down my spine. Speedway at its best.

Aces riders whilst riding for the club have won 40 gold medals.

Great to hear Harris managed to pass a disinterested Batchelor and Richie passed an out of sorts, beaten up Tobias and er Jack Smith. Bless the excitement hungry pirates fans creaming themselves over that.
