If I’ve got the right website it appears they run one event in each location per year and they are currently selling tickets for their last three events for this year, all indoors. Whilst I agree about social media marketing, you cannot compare the two when measuring achieved attendance levels.

The thing is we do get a lot of visitors to the NSS, just not all at the same time. We probably have around 1000-1200 diehards who turn up every week and the additional 500 or so that add to that aren’t the same people. Especially with some of the non Belle Vue events we run the number of unique locals that visit the NSS each year is between 3000-4000. The trick is to get them all to come at the same time. The fact they don’t is because they are not that arsed, despite excellent speedway that’s put on for them. It’s hard for us fans to comprehend, due to our love of the sport but speedway like many other things just doesn’t appeal to people unfortunately.

Can you give us some more info about your event? Belle Vue have 30 outdoor events over a 7 month period with almost all taking place on a weekday and an element of repetition (Panthers back for the third time in 10 weeks) that takes away that special event feel.

There’s nothing to pay for there aside from the cheap tickets and they’re basically going to people who wouldn’t have normally come anyway. What else costs?

It’s been over 50 in Ricky’s case, which is quite a long time in speedway terms.

We had a similar coming together in the same spot at the last Colts match. This time the rider behind was excluded so it’s swings and roundabouts with decisions like this. Glad in both cases everyone was ok.

Yep. I want compensating for the loss of sponsor space. Buster Panther. No I want compensating for the loss of sponsor space. Buster Star. Yes.

Aces made hard work of that mainly due to Dans bike problems and Max’s exclusion but it kept the scores close. Some good racing and it was a shame the crowd was so bad at around 1200-1300 it was well well down. Should have done an offer knowing the crowd would be hit. Looks like Ricky is back on borrowed time after his BH upturn.

Shame about Zach, think he really has potential but he heeds the right environment. Not many of those around for youngsters I’m afraid.

Surely you can take half a days holiday to come see your team ride at the NSS for the first time.

The Stars averaged dropped my a point and a half for June so it allow enough room to fit Craig in. Lucky quirk of the fixtures that all their league meetings have been away. That heather is certainly doing the trick.

Taylor takes great pictures so I have to ask why did the Lannings put work out under his name that wasn’t his? -
Spoke to Chris at the stadium on Monday as it seems he’s more comfortable coming along now after the hurt of what went on.

Were ALL the photos published as being Taylor’s work actually taken by Taylor? -
They haven’t. There’s an alternative universe where Mort & Gordon are still running the NSS whilst helping clubs with track prep etc and advising on dealing with local councils re keeping open or opening up speedway circuits. Buster is just back to selling pegs and lucky heather. I need a wormhole.

After years or Poole being cup kings, I think we get that. -
Fan or more accurately, ex fan.

Ignore this guy he’s an ex freeloader who is peed off he can’t get in for nowt anymore so spends his time spreading lies. I stopped listening to him as I struggled to hear him anyway over the sound of him grinding his axe.

Weak effort.

40% of Busters fixtures have been local derbies. I’m glad he brought Ipswich and Peterborough into the top division and selflessly saved UK speedway.
-
Me too.

He’s still got his Aces suit on oops. Seriously though the picture with the cap is the kind of exposure Craig provides or wants to provide. I thought the video from the Panther press day where the team were quickly ordered to remove their personal sponsor caps in favour of Busters was grim.
