  1. Been in the rule book for years. I’m off, I dipped my toe back in after giving this page wide berth due to the sheer stupidity and bile. I don’t have the patience to teach you guys “to fish” but enjoy you ignorance and try, just try to be happier.
  2. If that’s the case then why in previous seasons, teams that ran challenge fixtures still had to wait until 25% of league fixtures had been run before being allowed to make changes? The rules are simple and very clear on this one and it’s terribly embarrassing to see such stupidity displayed on these pages. By the way, I’d like an answer to my question.
  3. I’ve just emailed them on BSF behalf. When you say league fixtures do you mean league fixtures or something different than league fixtures, it’s just that putting league fixtures has led some to believe you don’t mean league fixtures. It might be better if you put “ league fixtures and we really really really mean just league fixtures” in future to lessen the percentage of BSF members who cannot work out you mean league fixtures. There would still be around 60% of BSF members unsure if you meant league fixtures even if you added the really really really bit. Just while I’ve got you can I check if the 2022 regulations are for the 2022 season!
  4. If the rule was to mean 25% of a teams meetings it would have said 25% of a teams meetings. It says 25% of league meetings because it only means league meeting. It’s not ambiguous at all as long as you’re not trying to bend things around to suit a weird BSF point of view. I still think we should have announced Zagar in March and ran RR for him as Ipswich (to name one) did last year against, well you can guess who against. It’s not within the rules and you have to get your committee buddies to ok it but one for all and all for one - who am I kidding. Incredible that The Aces once again abide by the rules yet get berated while other teams continually flout them with next to no comment. Still it’s not as though many people are watching, now why is that?
  5. It’s not the first time Belle Vue have altered their team in between their last league meeting one year and their first league meeting the following year. Does anyone know what Jye’s rolling average is, taking into account this years meetings? If you give a man a fish, you feed him for a day. If you teach a man to fish, you feed him for a lifetime
  6. Good start from a weakened Aces team who actually matched last years performance up to heat 14, only this time they missed out in the last. I think Sheffield are stronger this year compared to last season so to match the result up to that point was heartening for the weakened Aces. The inclusion of Allen was the decider in my opinion and shows poor team building on Lemons part. He should have named Zagar in the team then ran R/R in his place. Committee member Chris Louis did this against the Aces last year with Klindt and indeed committee member Bates made the same move with Cook on Monday. Committee members seem to have a better take on the rules than our fella. Racing wasn’t great and the fact it was tough to pass will cost us dear at Owlerton next week. Give that one a miss I reckon.
  7. In my time we’ve been jeered as the losing team by Bristol, Cradley, Coventry, Exeter, Hackney, Halifax, Hull, Lakeside, Newcastle, Newport, Reading, Rye House, Swindon. White City, Wimbledon and now Peterborough. I wish those team could jeer us in years to come. Winners?
  8. Has Nicholls got a curse whereby if he doesn’t knock a rider off on bend one his penis will fall off?
  9. Maybe because Belle Vue brought 400 fans including two coaches and the Panthers brought 10. Best fans in the UK by some distance.
  10. Inc bonus points their averages around Peterborough this year. Cook 8.89 Andersen 7.60 (about half from reserve) I think I hate facts as much as you guys now.
  11. I thought you might be right, so to give me some solace I looked up how bad he was when we last met him away - I feel worse now. Why do I let facts get in my head when I should just make stuff up like you guys?
  12. Bizarrely Craig couldn’t guest for Hans in the championship as he is too good. Rub of the green once again going against the Aces. What next? Must ask Rob Lyon what his lottery numbers are. Congratulations to the Panthers and commiserations to the luckless Aces.
  13. We’ll find out just what people think of Ulrich’s ability to maintain that average when the loyal Panthers put their team together in 2022. I’m expecting fan protests outside the stadium when he is dropped like a hot potato by super manager Rob Lyon. Dan was signed on a 6.15 average, lower than your top two at the start of the season. This is easily accessible information for Christ sake, there is no need to post rubbish. If you’re a troll, get a bleeding life.
  14. In years gone by when riders like Ulrich have upped their average whilst at reserve they are jettisoned the following season as the opinion is the average is over inflated and not a true representation of their ability. I’m just glad the fans believe Ulrich is worth his 7 and that they will be demanding his return as heat leader next year. Well done to you all.
  15. If Peterborough want to get a rule change then this is their best chance with having the Aces as their opponents. We don’t though, want to see a farce of a result. One year the best team lost as the worst team we’re allowed to double up some of their scores (I kid you not). There was a big outcry at the time but this was drowned out by the winning club celebrating. I believe Nero made a complaint under copyright infringement.
  16. That is the reason Speedway is on its knees in the UK. The idiots in control put a system in place that oap’s, stuck in a time warp hated, when 90% of their customer base where just that. Laughable but very sad that they can be so dumb. Shift your customer base BEFORE implementing something that alienates so many fans, all now lost to the sport.
  17. Thanks for that, I thought it might be the case. Have you a link so I can update my info? Cheers in advance.
  18. Connor Mountain guested in place of Jordan Palin in the Tigers v Panthers meeting. He scored 8+1 and won the meeting for the Panthers. The only caveat to this post is that the rules could have been rewritten more than once without letting anyone know. Might use “under the counter rules” similar to Mountains “under the counter” average. 012.4 Facilities – page 113 D1) Absent Rising Star – Same star rider or lower. Palin 1 replaced by Mountain 4.
  19. That could be British speedway’s new tag line. We’ve had “Fuelled by excitement.” “Its better than nothing” Now, British Speedway - “Who cares about fair play”
  20. Earlier in the season I took issue with Anders Rowe guesting for Bates as his average was too high. I was told Rowe can be considered BOTH a rising star and a rider with a GSA to it was ok for him to ride as rising stars don’t use their average when guesting, only their star rating. It was typical BS from the powers that be as they strained to get one over the Aces. Now it’s changed so rising stars DO use their average (even though officially they don’t have one, as per the green sheets.) so it’s ok. It’s typical BS from the powers that be as they strain to get one over the Aces - again.
  21. Same circumstance with the same rider but a different outcome and the only reason being he was an Ace back then. https://speedwaygp.com/news/article/6177/cook-forced-out-of-cup
  22. I would have said signing a rider knowing he won’t turn out for you and getting facility wouldn’t be allowed, but then I remembered Nicoli Klindt. The other ray of light is rules could be set, re-written, then re-written again all within the space of a few weeks. The final re-write may benefit you? The final ray of light is they could just set a rule but make an exception for Peterborough as they have done with the tyres. As an aside does anyone know how we are doing attracting more fans and big ticket sponsors?
  23. In this instance I’m glad it was just another childish rant from Buster with no substance to it. Looking forward to my visits with the Aces in the seasons to come.
