  1. No. One right makes a right no matter how much it sticks in your craw. Rules is rules.
  2. Yes, I’ll give you that. Robert did indeed get the full 15 against Ipswich whereas the last time they rode at the NSS, Max only got 14. Bloody Aces, strengthening up.
  3. So how would you describe 2022 World Pairs Champion, Warsaw GP winner and 2023 GP contestant Max Fricke?
  4. I love how BSF completely dispenses with fact and logic when assessing the two teams. Their success compared to ours has been listed but no, make stuff up instead. Sadly the way it seems on here. There is still time for Bates to try and pull another fast one as a cartel committee member. We could suffer another injury (just to cheer up the bloodthirsty BSF, always wondered who cheers a fallen rider you scumbags) and don’t forget the referee - free carvery for life?
  5. My apologies. I thought we’d discussed this exact rule when it was first brokered earlier this year. I thought Dan had tweeted about being denied the chance to race in the UK. I thought the other teams had their squads sorted. Again, sorry for getting all that wrong. Enjoy your speedway.
  6. Firstly welcome, it’s great to have newbies coming into the sport. Before your time, earlier this year this deal was discussed on here. Many had the same opinion as now about losing protected race nights being a bad thing. It all came out when Dan tweeted about being denied his chance by the BSPL. At the time of the tweet we were the only team still to declare.
  7. It’s not in the current spirit that prevails our dead sport which is, Max receives multiple injuries in a high speed smash. BSF cheer and rum their hands with glee when we get a second division rider to replace our 2022 world champion and GP round winner. Fairplay, you guys love it, not. Next we sign an adequate replacement as per the rules and a promoter from our main opposition uses his influence as a controlling committee member to stop it. Luckily the SCB saw through it and told him to jog on. Over the last few decades your spirit has killed this sport in the UK. Well done.
  8. Absolutely. It wasn’t rain though, he just didn’t fancy it. Teams are able to call meetings off with impunity if they think they’ll be onto a better thing at a later date. Not all teams however, one tried it and the BSPL/BSL cartel went into overdrive. Buster will get a better crowd when it’s run as Stars favourite Robert will be there and the say cheats never prospers. Go figure.
  9. All teams bar the Aces were settled back then and the BSPL/BSF cartel didn’t want Belle Vue being ahead of the game with Bewley in, so the stopped us. Double whammy for Dan as he’s denied riding here and fans berate him for not riding in the UK. It was during one of these spats that Dan let the cat out of the bag.
  10. The words are not season ending its long term so a sprain wouldn’t cut it. The multiple injuries Max suffered with are very long term. Get well soon Max.
  11. So in your world all it takes is a lawyer to get what you want, the rules mean nothing? If that’s the case there’s nothing to stop an NDL side signing Zmarzlik. I’m not buying it. In the real world it’s a crying shame we need a lawyer to see the rules implemented correctly. In a sport that governs itself and is rife with petty jealousies and self interest that I’m afraid is what it takes. BSPL/BSF should be ashamed of themselves.
  12. BSF wet dream team. They love guests and hate signed up team members. Not for me I’m afraid but each to their own.
  13. Two wrongs don’t make a right. Call out the cheats loud and proud, I do but it does me much good on here. What’s the point in Belle Vue following the rules all the time if the rest of you flout them to your own advantage?
  14. Don’t forget the British 2.5% reduction. Dan’s average will come down to 8.91 (from 9.14). Robert had his reduced (7.81 to 7.61) when he signed for us. When he rides in the Kings Lynn fixture his rolling average will alter giving him a 2022 average which will then have next seasons 2.5% reduction. Probably end up around 7.40. 32.50 used up on Dan, Robert, Jaimon, Norick and Tom. It’s just a case then of seeing the rules re RS and points limit for the other two. I expect a big reduction in team building limits as this always happens if the Aces finish high, been like that for decades. We certainly won’t see any of the, keep the same team stuff cooked up by the BSPL/BSF cartel in times gone by. Dodgy as.
  15. 011.1.18Bona-Fide Attempt to Race A rider, who, having started in a heat does not make an honest attempt to ride to the best of their ability, as judged by the Referee, shall be guilty of an offence, which may entail disqualification from the heat or a penalty. Failure to make a bona-fide attempt to race, if the Referee considers it to be an alternative to not participating in a meeting, is an offence. In team and pairs competitions, team riding is permitted. Mind you when has BSF ever had the desire to race within the rules? Openly discussing cheating as an acceptable way to compete in sport. Why am I not surprised
  16. Yes, crazy that they missed it when sorting the new rule. I’m glad they created the Tai rule back in the day but even that was poorly written as it failed to take into account long term injuries. That had a devastating effect on the Wolves team, sadly. This might be at odds on here and at BSPL towers but we should all want fair play and for teams to adequately cover for hospitalised team members. That’s my desire but I’ll don my tin hat and await the BSF jeers.
  17. It would have been pointless as the long term injury rule wasn’t in place then just the old August - no team changes rule. Ridiculous oversight that made the final a sorry none event. Glad they changed it, for all concerned in the spirit of fair play. The only problem we have now is all other teams will be feigning injuries to bolster their teams at play off time. As in the past they will produce dodgy sick notes whilst these injured riders compete abroad. Belle Vue have suffered other teams doing that to them on many occasions. Maybe we could get an outside source to monitor this. Bent BSPL/BSF would never stand for that though.
  18. Jason has shown terrific service to UK speedway, only missing the full 2021 season. Not like Lambert who has missed the full 2021 season.
  19. He’s was replacing Chris Holder who had suffered multiple injuries similar to Max this year. Something that bizarrely BSF get off on as it weakens their rivals. Bit sick if you ask me but everyone’s different I suppose. The worse thing about that particular season was Middlo forcing his riders out onto a dangerous rain effected track he himself said was bad. My low opinion of him dropped even lower as I still had poor Chris’ incident in my mind. All for a bit of silverware, shocking.
  20. Unfortunately not….. 016.1 PREMIERSHIP PAIRS 016.1.1 QualifyingCriteria 2 riders from the top 4 by MA from the green sheets of the month prior to the event will determine the Pair for each Team, with the Rising Star being the reserve. We were wrongly stopped from signing Robert in September by the dodgy old boy’s network. Someone from outside the sport got involved and put a stop to this continual nonsense and eventually the rules were followed. Against the grain I know but I wouldn’t mind more outside influence on the BSPL’s corrupt admin however much it upsets BSPL/BSF.
  21. But you cannot ignore the newer rule either, in fact the newer rule should take precedence over the old one, which shouldn’t have been left in. If you apply both rules then you have two cut off dates for changes. Ipswich hit the deadline 07/08/2022 but if they wanted to make a change they could say they will use the old rule and have until the 28/08/2022. Sheffield hit theirs 31/08/2022 so they would prefer to use the new rule to get some extra days should they need it. There is no reason for the old rule to be there, as I’ve mentioned before it impacted teams with long term injury issues when all it need to do was address ringers. The fact the new rule did this and evened out the playing field for when teams could change up to (75%) was perfect. Unfortunately they forgot to remove the old rule. Just to be clear to the usual suspects, no rules have been hastily rewritten, no brown envelopes have changed hands (a refreshing change after all these years) and nothing has been done with the dreaded best interests of speedway that the in crowd often use. It’s purely a desire to see the rules adhered to and the usual BSPL antics pushed to one side.
  22. They didn’t break the rule as there was no rule there at the time. Signing ringers for the play offs was subsequently stopped but they made a cock up with the rules which saw replacing long term injured riders also stopped. A oversight that hit Wolves hard in 2017. This has since been addressed and is the reason Belle Vue signed Lambert for their last four fixtures, all within the rules.
  23. Bit sick that mate. Give you head a wobble. Get well soon Max.
