Depends which of the two separate (even in separate sections ffs) rules pertaining to late season team building you go with. Common sense suggests you go with the newest rule and not the rule they forgot to remove. Common sense, what place has that in UK speedway? Anyway it’s served its purpose and stopped the Aces bringing in adequate cover for our world champion, laid up for months with multiple injuries. Obnoxious behaviour even for the BSPL and it’s many muppet sycophants.

I’d be very surprised if there wasn’t a rule change re Jaimon as even though he’s only missed two seasons his low average for Belle Vue will not go down well with BSPL bosses. Imagine us trying to sign the world champion on a 7.00, that would never happen, especially if it was just for the play offs.

My speedway watching experience over the years. Watch all Belle Vue meetings home & away. Watch all Ellesmere Port home fixtures. Watch many many individual and test matches at away tracks. Attend nearby tracks when holidaying in the UK. Watch all Belle Vue meetings home & away. Watch all Ellesmere Port home fixtures. Watch many individual and test matches at away tracks. Watch all Belle Vue meetings home & away. Watch all Ellesmere Port home fixtures. Watch all Belle Vue meetings home & away. Watch all Belle Vue home meetings. Watch most Belle Vue home meetings. My speedway attendance reduced by 75% as they pushed me away.

Poole did it when we rode at Kirky Lane, a lot of clubs do it such as wolves against the stars. Difficult to level this at Belle Vue unless we have been doing it all year at Owlerton as we have scored a consistent 33,36 & 37 when losing to the tigers. Clubs that do this show little respect to the paying supporters or should that be the appropriate level of respect to current fans? Speedway is at a point now that is fully deserved for most of its customer base. Very sad. BTW, the Aces weren’t lowering their averages in the 55-23 defeat, it’s not how we operate, unless you’re also of the opinion that we were dropping our average when the Bees dumped us out of the cup later in the season with home and away wins 44-34 & 38-40. Bammy, if he said it, was pulling your leg as we had a few maulings that year.

They can’t gate, it’s been the same for decades. It’s ok at home as they can race for points and it makes for an exciting nights entertainment. With other tracks favouring the gate & go type of speedway it makes things tough for the Aces.

Max only scored 16+1 last time we were there so Belle Vue won’t miss him, said BSF in their usual inept manner. 40-16+6=30-60 to Ipswich. He top scored in the home meeting too! Belle Vue to choke in a similar manner to all the other times and like PC in the ‘77 world final. Forum muppets do your thing.

You can tell I’m bored waiting from my girlfriend to get her nails done, that I’m reading this nonsense. The weather is cited as the reason for 99.9% of postponements so to put forward a ruling to help eradicate the many dodgy ones is perfectly valid. To say it wouldn’t be workable and then choose a scenario that may happen once every decade is ridiculous. Power outage, plane crash, animals escaping from the zoo are not points of discussion due to their infrequency. I’m pretty sure the Ukrainian tracks didn’t have an invaded by Russia clause and that shouldn't be a reason to say the rules were lacking or unworkable. I can imagine how the conference gets bogged down with nonsense such as this instead of actually moving our sorry sport forward. The current (and recently departed) people “running” this once great sport have not a clue what they are doing and they have driven it down to a point where no creditable person will touch it with a barge pole, so we are are left with the current monkeys in charge and anyone else stepping in would be equally clueless. What a horrible shame.

Been in the rule book for years. I’m off, I dipped my toe back in after giving this page wide berth due to the sheer stupidity and bile. I don’t have the patience to teach you guys “to fish” but enjoy you ignorance and try, just try to be happier.
-
If that’s the case then why in previous seasons, teams that ran challenge fixtures still had to wait until 25% of league fixtures had been run before being allowed to make changes? The rules are simple and very clear on this one and it’s terribly embarrassing to see such stupidity displayed on these pages. By the way, I’d like an answer to my question.

I’ve just emailed them on BSF behalf. When you say league fixtures do you mean league fixtures or something different than league fixtures, it’s just that putting league fixtures has led some to believe you don’t mean league fixtures. It might be better if you put “ league fixtures and we really really really mean just league fixtures” in future to lessen the percentage of BSF members who cannot work out you mean league fixtures. There would still be around 60% of BSF members unsure if you meant league fixtures even if you added the really really really bit. Just while I’ve got you can I check if the 2022 regulations are for the 2022 season!
-
If the rule was to mean 25% of a teams meetings it would have said 25% of a teams meetings. It says 25% of league meetings because it only means league meeting. It’s not ambiguous at all as long as you’re not trying to bend things around to suit a weird BSF point of view. I still think we should have announced Zagar in March and ran RR for him as Ipswich (to name one) did last year against, well you can guess who against. It’s not within the rules and you have to get your committee buddies to ok it but one for all and all for one - who am I kidding. Incredible that The Aces once again abide by the rules yet get berated while other teams continually flout them with next to no comment. Still it’s not as though many people are watching, now why is that?
-
It’s not the first time Belle Vue have altered their team in between their last league meeting one year and their first league meeting the following year. Does anyone know what Jye’s rolling average is, taking into account this years meetings? If you give a man a fish, you feed him for a day. If you teach a man to fish, you feed him for a lifetime

28.03. Aces v Tigers - Northern League Cup
ouch replied to Col's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Good start from a weakened Aces team who actually matched last years performance up to heat 14, only this time they missed out in the last. I think Sheffield are stronger this year compared to last season so to match the result up to that point was heartening for the weakened Aces. The inclusion of Allen was the decider in my opinion and shows poor team building on Lemons part. He should have named Zagar in the team then ran R/R in his place. Committee member Chris Louis did this against the Aces last year with Klindt and indeed committee member Bates made the same move with Cook on Monday. Committee members seem to have a better take on the rules than our fella. Racing wasn’t great and the fact it was tough to pass will cost us dear at Owlerton next week. Give that one a miss I reckon. -
Belle Vue v Peterborough Panthers - Grand Final

In my time we’ve been jeered as the losing team by Bristol, Cradley, Coventry, Exeter, Hackney, Halifax, Hull, Lakeside, Newcastle, Newport, Reading, Rye House, Swindon. White City, Wimbledon and now Peterborough. I wish those team could jeer us in years to come. Winners? -

Has Nicholls got a curse whereby if he doesn’t knock a rider off on bend one his penis will fall off? -

Maybe because Belle Vue brought 400 fans including two coaches and the Panthers brought 10. Best fans in the UK by some distance. -

Inc bonus points their averages around Peterborough this year. Cook 8.89 Andersen 7.60 (about half from reserve) I think I hate facts as much as you guys now. -

I thought you might be right, so to give me some solace I looked up how bad he was when we last met him away - I feel worse now. Why do I let facts get in my head when I should just make stuff up like you guys? -

Bizarrely Craig couldn’t guest for Hans in the championship as he is too good. Rub of the green once again going against the Aces. What next? Must ask Rob Lyon what his lottery numbers are. Congratulations to the Panthers and commiserations to the luckless Aces.
