Both him and Robert won’t be lining up for this one if they are Kings Lynn bound next year.

I thought it was because Allen & Cook were long term injured at the time of their release. It’s since been said Cook rode elsewhere but even so the Allen move is allowed over and above the other two due to his injury. This was a great new rule, the problem was forgetting to remove the old August rule as there was no need for two rules restricting late season moves. Unless of course you wanted to give yourself wriggle room to try and restrict another team replace a badly injured team member. -

When you substitute BSPL directors with Bates, Godfrey, Ford jr & Louis it’s even more chilling. Add in Chapman (still very much a spectre hanging over the sport) and CVS from recent years it’s easy to see why the sport is dead. You reap what you sow. So sad. Even more of a concern is those named above will control all next years top flight - bar one. -

It doesn’t surprise me that you don’t have the intelligence to get to the rule book using the information provided let (sic). You’ve never read it before so why bother now. Probably didn’t feel the need with Terry about. Yuk! -

ttp://www.scbgb.co.uk/regulations You should have tried using them instead of getting your mate Russell to use his influence with his chums. I’ve said for years folk like that are killing the sport and in your case it’s unfortunately very very true. Having dodgy sorts involved in the sport is dangerous as you never know when they’ll turn and you end up losing everything. Very sad and all for a few cups that meant nowt. -

The rule book states long term injury not season ending. When Allen and Cook were replaced by Sedgman and Kerr respectively they had both suffered long term injuries so the rule was followed correctly (they’d already used one move when replacing Stefan). As Bates obviously knew the rule having used it himself, the fact he tried to use his influence as a committee member to gain an unfair advantage as Sheffield promoter is just down right wrong. I’m glad the SCB got involved and put things right but it’s a sad state of affairs when a fellow promoter acts in such an underhand manner. -

No. One right makes a right no matter how much it sticks in your craw. Rules is rules. -

Yes, I’ll give you that. Robert did indeed get the full 15 against Ipswich whereas the last time they rode at the NSS, Max only got 14. Bloody Aces, strengthening up. -

So how would you describe 2022 World Pairs Champion, Warsaw GP winner and 2023 GP contestant Max Fricke? -

I love how BSF completely dispenses with fact and logic when assessing the two teams. Their success compared to ours has been listed but no, make stuff up instead. Sadly the way it seems on here. There is still time for Bates to try and pull another fast one as a cartel committee member. We could suffer another injury (just to cheer up the bloodthirsty BSF, always wondered who cheers a fallen rider you scumbags) and don’t forget the referee - free carvery for life? -
My apologies. I thought we’d discussed this exact rule when it was first brokered earlier this year. I thought Dan had tweeted about being denied the chance to race in the UK. I thought the other teams had their squads sorted. Again, sorry for getting all that wrong. Enjoy your speedway.
-
Firstly welcome, it’s great to have newbies coming into the sport. Before your time, earlier this year this deal was discussed on here. Many had the same opinion as now about losing protected race nights being a bad thing. It all came out when Dan tweeted about being denied his chance by the BSPL. At the time of the tweet we were the only team still to declare.

It’s not in the current spirit that prevails our dead sport which is, Max receives multiple injuries in a high speed smash. BSF cheer and rum their hands with glee when we get a second division rider to replace our 2022 world champion and GP round winner. Fairplay, you guys love it, not. Next we sign an adequate replacement as per the rules and a promoter from our main opposition uses his influence as a controlling committee member to stop it. Luckily the SCB saw through it and told him to jog on. Over the last few decades your spirit has killed this sport in the UK. Well done. -
Absolutely. It wasn’t rain though, he just didn’t fancy it. Teams are able to call meetings off with impunity if they think they’ll be onto a better thing at a later date. Not all teams however, one tried it and the BSPL/BSL cartel went into overdrive. Buster will get a better crowd when it’s run as Stars favourite Robert will be there and the say cheats never prospers. Go figure.
-
All teams bar the Aces were settled back then and the BSPL/BSF cartel didn’t want Belle Vue being ahead of the game with Bewley in, so the stopped us. Double whammy for Dan as he’s denied riding here and fans berate him for not riding in the UK. It was during one of these spats that Dan let the cat out of the bag.
-
The words are not season ending its long term so a sprain wouldn’t cut it. The multiple injuries Max suffered with are very long term. Get well soon Max.

So in your world all it takes is a lawyer to get what you want, the rules mean nothing? If that’s the case there’s nothing to stop an NDL side signing Zmarzlik. I’m not buying it. In the real world it’s a crying shame we need a lawyer to see the rules implemented correctly. In a sport that governs itself and is rife with petty jealousies and self interest that I’m afraid is what it takes. BSPL/BSF should be ashamed of themselves.
-
BSF wet dream team. They love guests and hate signed up team members. Not for me I’m afraid but each to their own.
-
Two wrongs don’t make a right. Call out the cheats loud and proud, I do but it does me much good on here. What’s the point in Belle Vue following the rules all the time if the rest of you flout them to your own advantage?
-
Don’t forget the British 2.5% reduction. Dan’s average will come down to 8.91 (from 9.14). Robert had his reduced (7.81 to 7.61) when he signed for us. When he rides in the Kings Lynn fixture his rolling average will alter giving him a 2022 average which will then have next seasons 2.5% reduction. Probably end up around 7.40. 32.50 used up on Dan, Robert, Jaimon, Norick and Tom. It’s just a case then of seeing the rules re RS and points limit for the other two. I expect a big reduction in team building limits as this always happens if the Aces finish high, been like that for decades. We certainly won’t see any of the, keep the same team stuff cooked up by the BSPL/BSF cartel in times gone by. Dodgy as.
