After speaking to a chap at work I need a bit of help from people with a wider sporting knowledge. What sports have a play off system to decide the league winners, that also doesn't offer a cup to the team that tops the table? In these sports is the impact of injury to a member of their team either before or during play off matches greater or lesser than speedway?

I think the big problem is stadium rental as often it's the same if you ride NL or PL and that's why the Aces stopped even thought they paid a lesser rate for NL. We will be starting up again next year, now that obstical has been removed.
