  1. Makes the unnecessary call off of the earlier fixture seem even more daft now.
  2. Yep see a patten. Aces v Poole, we want it off but officials says it's on. Swindon v Aces, we want it on but officials says it's off. Great being an Ace in't it!
  3. That's the main thing. It's the way it is I'm afraid and shafting number four this year for The Aces, but it's only Belle Vue so nothing will be done. Still another nail in the EL coffin so every cloud and that.
  4. You will always get inconsistent desicions made when The Aces are involved and low and be hold they won't go our way. Quite often taking the chance to get one over us has greater repercussions for the opposing teams future business and the sport as whole but there you go.
  5. Guess that's been answered now. Are well, it was only against The Aces.
  6. Was Ljung really injured for this meeting. The Lions stated "With Peter Ljung still unfit from his crash at Leicester in the match against Eastbourne" The updates site read "Comments: Ljung into airfence bends 1/2 up on his feet but excluded. Airfence been repaired. Ljung completed his last two rides winning one of them. The only racing he missed was the Aces fixture as he took his place in Poland four days later scoring paid eleven.
  7. It was at best a 50/50 incident but with Cook antagonising the officials moments before you could guess who the ref would exclude. Shame as it spoilt a nicely balanced contest and the meeting peated out after that. These things happen unfortunately.
  8. Poole must be the most profession outfit about then as they've said bugger all about Lee Smart.
  9. No. Similar to MPT's 0300 he made the gate in his first and that's all that matters down there. Gate and go. One thing Cook needs to sort is not letting his head drop when bad decisions are made. He seems to dwell on it and it effects his performance. Rise above it mate.
  10. Got lucky, keep head down, say nothing.
  11. Nice to see Cook tell the world about his exclusion rather than keep silent as is the case with folk with something to hide. It also gives others right to reply if they feel the comments about them are out of order. I look forward to that chit chat. Nothing to enthuse about racing wise aside from Pawlicki's acrobatics. Surprised Worrall wasn't exclude when he hit Pawlicki's bike, even though he wasn't on it. Good to see Holder score well as he's not looked the same rider since returning from his horrendous injuries. He might not have another title in him but I think he can compete well in the GP's for a couple more years.
  12. Over as a contest after Ht 6. I didn't think we had number 8's this year?
  13. Wonder when the ref and Ford are having their date night.
  14. So Poole replaced Smart with Compton but Compton couldn't take his place as he got injured. Makes sense. Smart was released before the Aces match in Manchester but Compton wasn't injured then as that happened the following Saturday. Doesn't make sense. Maybe Smart wasn't released until after the Poole match on the 30th but then Poole can't sign Compton as he's above Smart yet the Daily Star say Comptons missed out due to injury. Doesn't make sense. Aces had TBC for Poole on their website 22/04/14 only to find Greenwood in place the day of the meeting. If Smart was dropped for Compton where was Compton? If Smart wasn't dropped where was he? Why have a press release in the Daily Star 5/5/14 saying Compton missed out on a team spot for Poole due to injury when he could have ridden at Kirky Lane in place of Smart? The report should have read Compton missed out due to new ratings coming out after Smarts final match that saw Compton move above Smart. Poole = cheating scumbags. Makes sense.
  15. I just hope all the lads come back safe. Ford has seen the almost messiah like following he has and now skimps on track prep knowing his fans will put up with anything. On a real race track we'd having the beating of them any day of the week but on that track I advise the lads to play safe and live to fight another day. Cheating Scumbags by 12.
  16. As is the case with cheats like Poole if you have something to hide to say nothing or lie.
  17. Difficult and dangerous track yet Poole continue under the command of Middleditch until the required result. Grimm and I hope the inevitable stays a long way off. Middleditch an ex rider too. Disgusting. Win at all costs.
  18. Magic definitely and Milik probably won't be at Kirky Lane for the B fixture. They will probably pick up a 24hr back injury like Screen a few years ago during the average fixing scandal. That of course involved speedways greatest cheats......
  19. It's a bit like Ferjan missing an Eastbourne match due to a "lost" passport. Cheats
  20. He wasn't concerned last year. He was interviewed and commented that it was silly to continue when riders like Niels fall off, so he admitted it was dangerous then sent his riders out to race. He was only interested in the win and would have continued to send his riders out until such time as the win was certain. What a loathsome individual.
  21. Ben Johnson, Lance Armstrong, Diego Maradonas goal against England, Poole Pirates and even Charles Ingram on a TV quiz show. I'm so jealous of this lot.
