If there is a technological solution to these starting issues it needs to be adopted as the continual restarts very much get on people's nerves. Also refs do seem to have favourites who they keep an eye on thus missing the other participants. The other thing refs appear to do is make a wrong call, then make a wrong call to the other team to compensate which again is a pain on the arse. I watched a couple of starts that where pulled back in Sky box slo mo whilst the broadcast itself was showing a slo mo so it was super slow and it showed me that the tapes moved before the rider, they were just very good starts.

The annoying problem with The Aces and they have done this for years even when at the foot of the table, is their capacity to be just bad enough to miss out on match points. In seven matches this year if they had scored just nine well placed race points they would have a further nine match points. The nine race points would make little to no difference to the team average but those match points would see us battling for first not sweating on fourth. I'd love to knowvif other teams have such a ratio of race to match points lost, to such a degree as us.

You don't get play off teams until the play off qualification period is complete FFS.

And the BSPA are compounding the issue by banning guest movement between the play off teams.

Rossiter is correct that the ref was poor. After Zagar was disqualified when he and Max tangled as they came off the home straight, many fans around me were unsure why all four back wasn't called. I explained that some refs can and do disqualify riders in these situation it's just a pain as all ref don't do the same so the lack of consistency causes confusion. As soon a Ward took Stefan off I said "oh o" looks like he's out, but no. He then did the same when Morris took Steve off so it seemed, if you were a robin it wasn't a problem. Lack of consistency with the same meeting doesn't sit well with me especially if it favours one team. I've never been as pleased to see the opposition take a 5-1 than in heat 13. I'm pretty certain the ref would still be running it now until the desired result was reached. Heat 14 will more than likely see the ref face a disciplinary as all of it was just awful. Must admit I was surprised that a Zagarless Aces out scored the robins over the latter stages 26-22. When you match the two teams it seems harder to lose but thank god for Rosco I suppose.

Need help with this if anyone knows what's what. Green light on. Rider gets disqualified for delaying the start and that running of the race ends at that point as a replacement is required. After this but before the rerun of the heat a rider then touches the tapes. Should he be disqualified from a race that had already been stopped and why? I've seen it twice this year but never before.
