No need for The Aces to stop Poole as this is the Elite League whereas The Aces achievements were in the British League. Comparing different competitions some 43 years apart is, well, no comparison. You many as well compare what The Aces achieved in the 70's with their four on the trot triumph in the National League only 36 year previous. -

Good grief man! I'd made reference to the robins gaining points due to a robins inflicted re run and the heat 15 likely result, so that was the six points. I don't count the joker when comparing rider scores much like it's not counted in averages. Surely you knew all this, didn't you? -

arrrghhh!! When will Lady Luck cut us some slack? If, as I'm told every year the luck evens itself out then over the next one or three matches we're going to be the luckiest team going. I'm not talking about the referee either we known they are going to favour the opposition, thats a given. The Robins fall then get a better result in the re run and then the heavens open before our last hurrah, so a 20 point lead becomes 14. Well done to The Aces on a thoroughly deserved victory and well done to Charles. They often come back to haunt us but we'll keep churning these lads out for the good of British speedway. Top scorer, a fine effort lad. -

I do get my back up sometimes especially when false accusation of lying are made and I'll alway speak out against it. Personnel I found the article to be in bad taste and I'll just have to take it on the chin that many are ok with it. Similarly I don't like it when riders are replaced by guests willy nilly and without good cause but again if people are fine with that who am I to question their beliefs. I don't like seeing British lads messed about and wish we did more for them to prosper, likewise I long for a return to the days when we ruled the roost. I understand these days it's not the done thing to fanatically wave the Union Jack so apologise if I unintentionally upset anyone. I do have a bee in my bonnet about the Russell's and rarely air my thoughts. Again I'm sorry about that as I misjudged the mood when it comes to these two as they appear to be well liked on here. Looking forward to tonight though, if it's anything like the previous two meeting when the robins came to Kirky Lane then speedway will be the winner. Up The Aces!! -

So here we go, having lost a heatleader to a career ending injury and running guests at number one. Not ideal but here's hoping we pull through. It'll be tight with luck playing its part, and we must be due some of that by now. -

Pleased he's apologised. We know he's a bit erratic so things of this nature are always regretful likely to happen. Got to love the power of the Internet. -

Whilst many people are saying this is just mind games, to have an injured rider at the centre of it, especially at this delicate moment within speedway is just sick. I think this is Tossiterds last throw of the dice before he goes back to lorry driving full time. We can't have a lowlife like him using injured people to score points in the press involved in the sport. I find it upsetting that someone would have a go at a team that has lost their number one to a genuine injury. Awful. #staystrongdarcy -

I think Ronnie Russell will try and set the track up to suit his brother Terry Russell's team. It's cheating we know but it's how it works at the moment. Sad. -

Hope Lemon can put one over Tossiterd again, it's 4-1 as it stands including the World Cup qualifier, that saw the Aussie sort the Brits in their own backyard. Mind you led by Tossiterd could you see anything else. Did you pick British number two Craig Cook? No, I don't like him, we don't get on. That shouldn't matter, it's about winning this thing for Britain. No, I said I don't like him. Look put that to one side for now and show some passion for a British success. I keep saying I don't like him, I'm not arsed about the Brits I do what's best for me. I don't like you now either. I'm an emotional time bomb. Get away from me. -

I wonder if Howarth will walk down the road tonight to see Tossiterd. His crocodile tears about dropping Kyle makes me sick. If he was that bothered about him he could have reintroduced him following Darcy's injury and before the Bees rescued his EL career (well done Bees btw). Tossiterd doesn't give a monkeys about the Brits. He can't even be arsed to run a Sprockets team but is happy to take Brits that other teams who have spent time and money on like ex Colt and local lad Charles Wright. Tossiterd backing the Brits is an oxymoron and he is just a moron. -

Wouldn't surprise me to see Zengota replaced by IRR if he has a bad first ride or two. It wouldn't play on Tossiters mind that it's cheating, it's water off a ducks back to that sort. -

Hope PK has a good one tonight as if he can't be arsed Tossiter will just replace him with a ringer. It's cheating replacing a rider with no good reason but he has form for this kind of cheating and I can see him doing it again. Repulsive. -

Oops. I don't think Tossister should have said that. -
They're not usually known for their luck. I'd give away all our good luck if I could also give away the bad. Happy days.

We also drew at Poole but they didn't have MJ. When they had a full team we beat them on aggregate. -
Nice try Steve. Like you don't know how a league table is calculated. LOL
-
I've just looked at the table and the race points difference between Wolves and Leicester is 29 not 4 so stevebrum couldn't even get that right. I beginning to feel like a sucker having been taken in by him. You live a learn.

It was going to be tier ones do two years then everybody moves up one but this is Steve Worralls first year as tier one and no way will he be allowed to do another. Also Auty won't be back as that would open the door for Richie to come back and again the powers that be won't allow it. Up The Aces! -
You said they are four points in front so that makes you equal. If someone was four inches taller than you would you say they are the same size? We are not talking about the general feeling as to how the season had gone we are talking points on the board. YOU ARE NOT EQUAL! You keep posting wrong things and instead of holding your hands up you just keep on making yourself look a dick.
-
OK, I think I get it now. A 4 points swing counts at the top of the league to determine placings but not at the bottom where teams remain equal. Jesus Christ!!
-
No you didn't.
-
FFS. So if this 4 point swing happened in the old days before the play offs with Wolves and the Lions at the top they would share the winners trophy as according to you both are equal???? Talk about seeing something that isn't there. Incredible.

You used the term British Speedway as a whole and didn't imply you were cherry picking certain clubs. Still, if promotors see that some fans think the sport had been saved then they will carry on as per.
