  1. I don't think Jason is dirty just out of control and not a clever thinker on the bike. He was years ago at the Vue and I'm surprised and disappointed he's not been coached out of this during his years away. The play off semi or final should be good between these two teams. Just hope Scott & the reserves don't have stinkers again. Felt for Stefan when his bike went pop. Hans is a problem for The Bees as whereas Scott's was a blip Hans is regular. I think that will intimately cost them. Correct, whenever these back room deals go on between the in crowd and we end up getting shafted, I'm sore. Bent the lot of it but whilst some fans are happy who cares. I'm alright Jack!
  2. Could somebody talk me through the Swindon team declarations over the last two weeks explaining which guest replaced which rider and why? I'm confused as AM's in then PK's in but both don't ride even though there is nothing wrong with them. Also what's this "reverted" on the team sheet means.
  3. I've given up. Fancy though it's alway great when we're not looking. Bit of BS I think but if the home fans like it then hey ho.
  4. Trouble is the BSPA or certain members DO know what's going on but if your not in the loop you're gonna get shafted. The EDF is the perfect example. They wanted lads geographically placed to join teams to keep travelling cost down. Don't forget this whole process was brought in to save money. It's then obvious that this didn't suit some so the last to first system was used. This is pointless in speedway as teams can and do change so much from season to season finishing last has little to no bearing on the following year. So, ok they have a system in place but then again it didn't suit some so another convoluted system comes into play for the next season. We also had it where Steve was made the highest graded rider on the list that then affected your second pick place. Fair enough but then only weeks later this system is dispensed for another. I don't even know why I'm going into all this as we all know it's bent, obviously bent and that's why we are pushing not just losing but pushing our hardcore fans away from the sport.
  5. I think it's fair to say the Coventry are currently in the I'm alright Jack phase.
  6. The sport's bent - I'm alright Jack. The sport's bent - I'm alright Jack. The sport's bent - I'm alright Jack. The sport's bent - I'm alright Jack. I'm not alright, I'm near the bottom of the table - The sport's bent. The sport's bent - I'm alright Jack. The sport's bent - I'm alright Jack.
  7. I think it's a Belle Vue thing, we've always been the same.
  8. Matej Zagar Farewell meeting. I wonder if they will have a souvenir programme.
  9. Without ploughing through the world fixtures I'm guessing AM or PK are riding elsewhere, with a federation we have an agreement with. I refuse to believe they have a facility when two riders can't be arsed.
  10. I'm confused now. In this weeks Star under the headline Robins switch, it states "With PK's agreement now at an end" and on the BSPA website under declarations it has PK as an outgoing rider and not in the team but AM at 1.
  11. I'm amazed that Coventrys losses can be dismissed due to the fact they will likely make the play offs. So if this happens again to a non play off team, what then? Best to discuss it now and hopefully stop this kind of thing happening again, again.
  12. I'm the same. I bumped into him six years ago at Buxton where he was their reserve. He started spouting on about being the best rider in the Premier League, British number two, qualifying for the Cardiff GP and becoming an Elite League heat leader. Arrogant get!
  13. Should opened on June 1st when the weathers better.
  14. We offered several dates but two were refused as other teams didn't want to move and the offer of a Monday with a likely Sky broadcast never got off the table. Gov!
  15. I'm in total agreement with that, if fact I would, like the Aces management, have liked to have ridden at Lakeside without four of our team missing. We knew we had a better chance of winning with horses for courses but for the good of the sport we asked if it could be rearranged. We were refused.
  16. Arya, it's not rubbish or even my opinion it's fact as caught on film. Dispicable. The "he does it govnor so I thought I would" augment doesnt wash with me I'm afraid.
  17. I'll never forget at the Aces v Poole match when Middleditch was interviewed following the cancellation after heat 10. He said when riders like NKI are coming off that tells you something it is correct to call it off. NKI came off yet Middleditch happily sent out his riders AFTER this, knowing the track was dangerous. Utter utter scumbag.
  18. I love the way Cook "talks a lot of sense" when his team is at the wrong end of the table.
  19. I think if the SWC had been anywhere else he would have been in the team, in place of Lambert. As much as I like Craig I would pick Lambert ahead of him at Saddlebow Rd.
  20. One thing that doesn't sit right with me is the fact that a meeting steward or Sky stooge has so much say in the running of the meeting. You end up with meetings in the same competition being handled differently and dependant on the amount of Sky broadcast you take part in you can be potentially helped or hindered dependant on this guys input, a guy with influence who isn't at all fixtures. I just think rules or administrative practice should be the same across the board.
  21. Belle Vue are building him a nice big Polish sized track that he can ride to his hearts content.
  22. The problem is some people get hung up on thick or awkward people not agree on a point that isn't difficult to understand. It doesn't bother me that people are stupid. I said everything that needs saying on this subject earlier on. To me it's amusing to see folk struggle to get it but if they ever wanted help in understanding things I would be more than willing to help. Trouble is, for a lot on here ignorance is bliss.
  23. No it's not a Poole controversy it's a speedway controversy that we comment on and quite right to. The fact that the majority of problems involve Poole should tell you something. I'm not and never will be anti Poole. I am and always will be anti cheating and I'll comment on it whoever is involved.
