Should opened on June 1st when the weathers better.
-
We offered several dates but two were refused as other teams didn't want to move and the offer of a Monday with a likely Sky broadcast never got off the table. Gov!
-
I'm in total agreement with that, if fact I would, like the Aces management, have liked to have ridden at Lakeside without four of our team missing. We knew we had a better chance of winning with horses for courses but for the good of the sport we asked if it could be rearranged. We were refused.

Arya, it's not rubbish or even my opinion it's fact as caught on film. Dispicable. The "he does it govnor so I thought I would" augment doesnt wash with me I'm afraid.

I'll never forget at the Aces v Poole match when Middleditch was interviewed following the cancellation after heat 10. He said when riders like NKI are coming off that tells you something it is correct to call it off. NKI came off yet Middleditch happily sent out his riders AFTER this, knowing the track was dangerous. Utter utter scumbag.

I love the way Cook "talks a lot of sense" when his team is at the wrong end of the table.

I think if the SWC had been anywhere else he would have been in the team, in place of Lambert. As much as I like Craig I would pick Lambert ahead of him at Saddlebow Rd.

One thing that doesn't sit right with me is the fact that a meeting steward or Sky stooge has so much say in the running of the meeting. You end up with meetings in the same competition being handled differently and dependant on the amount of Sky broadcast you take part in you can be potentially helped or hindered dependant on this guys input, a guy with influence who isn't at all fixtures. I just think rules or administrative practice should be the same across the board.

Belle Vue are building him a nice big Polish sized track that he can ride to his hearts content.

Belle Vue Aces -v Poole "cheats" Pirates

I've said it many times over the years, that the most effective why to stop people calling you a cheat is not to cheat. A simple concept, lost on some. Sad. -

The answer was Poole or to use the modern term cheating scumbags. -

Not true actually. A few years back Joe Screen was signed off sick with a back injury. It was all an average fixing scam. The authorities investigated and stopped the team involved from gaining the advantage they were after. As a bit of fun, do want to play guess the team trying to cheat? -

Belle Vue V Swindon - 11/5/2015

It's like Aces v Colts tonight. I think Swindon could do well. -
They did the same thing against us last year with Ljung.

Leicester V Belle Vue Saturday 11.04.15

I'm missing something here. Numbers 3 & 5 ride together in two of their races so no change there. Number 3 then faces the oppositions number 1&5 then 3&4, whilst our number 5 faces their number 3&4 then 1&5. I don't get how it makes us a lot stronger? -

I don't think they would want to change the system to be honest. How many Slovenians ride in our league? Who recently held the track record at Leicester? What team do they both ride for? Some would say, job done. -

King's Lynn V Lakeside Tues 31st Sky 7.30

Here here. My mate is a chef and if he gets complaints he asks if they've ever worked in a resturant kitchen. Soon puts them in their place. Dad was a roofer and as not many folk venture up onto their roof any complaints he had were soon dismissed. Speedway fans stop moaning for Christ sake! -
Jesus, it's never any different with the cheating scumbags from the South Coast. You seem to attract this kind of thing even when you're not knowingly being dodgy. Is there something in the water or is it, like I'm hoping just the scummy speedway club it effects in the area? Whilst British speedway fans know anything you've "won" over the last decade has been due to extremely questionable tactics your infamy is spreading outside speedway circles. I travel all over and mention speedway quite often. People reference Ivan Mauger, Belle Vue or Peter Collins but now if Poole come up their cheating is mentioned. If the Darcy's ban makes the papers people will say he's attached to the cheats at Poole. I know a few of you like Ford and can turn a blind eye to cheating in the quest for honours but the Pirates have been around for years and will hopefully carry on long after Ford has gone but you will be saddled with the "cheating scumbags" tag for a long time to come, which is a shame for you and speedway as a whole. Grim times.

Riders Gardening At The Tapes
ouch replied to Phil The Ace's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
I've often wondered over the decades why they didn't have a rule to stop riders using spades to take dirt from another gate position and then use it whilst preparing their starting gate. In a lot of respects the rule book is far too sparse and needs padding out to take into account things like this before they happen.
