Hit the nail on the head I suspect. Having Holder and Batch sacked was the last thing he needed this year for his personal enjoyment of being a Star, took away all the fun and left pressure instead. Particularly without Dale about either ....

And at least now he's come out to tell it how it is, more than Kenneth Bjerre did for Lynn a few seasons ago when he was riding awfully and getting stick. Sarj is in a different stage of his career to Bjerre too, poor bugger, time for the fans to rally round!!!

Cookie is a Cumbrian bloke, of course the fans want to support him, he's one of their own. It's a shame that the Workington mtg wasn't changed to accommodate the PRC? The Cumbrian fans don't seem to have taken Cookie to their hearts like they did Stoney, why is that?

Depends if the fans want to see processions or racing but from a riders point of view if you can't race and pass it's unfair on those who don't gate.

What Cook, Jorgensen, Proctor, Williamson not entertaining? I came up to Worky quite a few times in our PL days and could never believe how generous the fans were, particularly in the bar after the meeting, there was always a good atmosphere, what has gone wrong?

It's important to do your best but if it's not good enough, to accept it.... not everyone can be World Champion....thank goodness TG became WC, his best was good enough in the end but had he never won, he'd always be a Polish Speedway legend.

It still is a decent, smooth racetrack most of the time and afaik riders still get paid on time? We've had good teams most years.

There's no doubt the club needs someone to do a similar job to that Jonathan did a few years ago but whether the money is there to pay I don't know.

Rob, Buster and Dale have been a good team together afa recruiting riders for years, nothing wrong with our team this year either, just went wrong after we sacked the Aussies. We have had so many problems with pivotal riders being injured that has messed up a good team at an important time, we have been very unlucky. I don't think we have a clue about what went on between Buster and Jonathan and KLS?
