Highlights would show the significant heats during a meeting, other exciting heats, action in the pits, quick interviews with the team manager, riders during the drama of a meeting, scenes from the crowd, jubilant, angry etc .....

Yes me too, I had high hopes for our neighbours coming up 😣 Hoping for countdown clocks at all tracks, no tactical rides but change of gate position if it helps, track rakers to be brought back at every track in between tractor grades, transponders on all bikes and corresponding equipment at all Prem tracks (let's do it b4 the FIM/BSI (sick of waiting for them!) etc

I guess they will just have to say that the Premiership has priority 100% of the time ...........

You'd think the Championship promoters would want set race nights for the Premiership to stop any clashes with doubling up?

Bit daft!

The main ingredient of speedway is the racing, we need the majority of races to be exciting and the promoters and riders need to do whatever it takes to provide this excitement. Great racing will keep the fans we have and bring others in, it makes for great atmosphere, it is the answer lol

Wasn't Holder pretty committed to Poole until this year when he was dropped from a great height by MF?

Seems to me that promoters can't really afford to offer value season tickets, clubs just don't have enough supporters, let's hope the situation changes...

Most people go to darts matches to have fun, they dress up with the hope of getting on TV, they hold up banners to get on TV, they drink, they sing and chant for their favourite players, simple lol. Bit like Polish Speedway fans tbh. So to attract younger people promoters need to get the terraces rocking, or groups if fans need to inject some fun into supporting their team ala Ipswich Massif lol But all this needs the riders to do their bit for the fans too 😊

Mon/Thurs for Premiership, keep points system for winning losing mtgs as they are, no tactical rides but team managers can choose gate positions if 6 points down 1/3 or 2/4), they will work out team limits as always depending on how many teams etc, every promoter to allow members of an away team's official supporter's club to have reduced entry price on production of membership card and photo graphic evidence to back it up, reduced/free entry to all children or £1 entry with a simple racecard, a proposal to agree on 2019 league structure in September 2018 so riders can be signed/fixture list compiled before end of 2018, I personally hope a 90th anniversary celebration meeting is planned...

That would be 100 miles away from me so no, I would drive to Lynn to watch the Young Stars 😁 What is Horton trying to achieve, to show the need for a Coventry Speedway? I don't suppose the Coventry/Rugby Councils are in any doubt.....

Fixed race nights are what all the other countries have had for years and at least two are successful so .........

25 miles, is that all, I drive 40 miles for Lynn meetings!

It was the non binding of the new material with the base material that was reportedly the problem as I understood it...

Forget Saturdays, we did at Lynn after years of Saturday speedway..

U prefer meetings where there is a huge build up of dirt on the outside of the track so riders really are dicing with death going into it, I don't. The more material on our small tracks the more grading is needed imo...

Mine always slept all the way home, probably didn't wake up til the morning, the transfer from car to bed was an art 😁

Parents worry too much about their children having late nights IMHO..
