There's trouble at t'mill ...... the fans have to take the bad with the good and of course the more good you have, the more you expect. Testing times down south in your 70th year. But sympathy, nah ..

Speedway has done that, it doesn’t work very well, the promoter loses money and hardly any fans come back on a normal priced night. If parents could get over the 'can’t bring my child cos they have to go to bed early’ it would help speedway, my kids all came, they haven’t suffered at all, they catch up with their sleep, they fall asleep on the way home, it’s no big deal imho.

Of course it wasn’t Robert’s fault, whoever would think a flight would be delayed for so many damned hours and yes we 100 per cent would’ve won with Robert there, what an awesome start he’s had to the season, loving watching him. We need Niels back to where we know he should be/can be, dunno if it’s the injury but he doesn’t look comfortable out there. Ty has made a good start to the season too, he is confident which is great. Lewis Kerr is also full of confidence, particularly at Lynn, loved seeing him clamp riders going into the third bend last week, keep up the great work Lew Just loving it

Bad luck aside re Robert, we gave Leicester a run for their money, I feel confident we can beat them by more than 6 at home, roll on Wednesday week!! MotM - Ty

Polish people obviously have a different opinion of speedway riders, more like the UK years ago where riders were revered, admired, put on a pedestal, but why? Not saying fans don’t admire riders today but they certainly don’t treat them as Polish people do. Polish people are generally more passionate about their cities/towns, I put that down to their history and I guess it follows that they are passionate about their sports clubs too? I’m convinced that if our stadiums were in the centre of our cities like Polish stadiums are so that locals could walk to their club they would be more popular, all our city centre clubs have disappeared, built on ........ I’ve been to Polish speedway and there was nothing extra regards promotion on the day, no extras, apart from providing flags I guess, but the fans were totally up for a great Sunday afternoon, it may be because they are young and enthusiastic, it is, definitely is, as we get older our outlook changes, we generally become grumpy, miserable, cynical, old farts who have no energy, who’ve been there, done it all before lol

As long as the riders realise that however many fans there are we are all just as passionate about our clubs. We may have different way of showing it, different levels of support but it's there...

Don't forget Batch was our best scoring rider last season.....

Compare the price now to the price in the seventies and eighties, I bet it is on a par to the average earnings? Of course if you are a concession/very low earner then maybe it is expensive but if you’re on £300/£1000 a week then not so ....... Everyone loses their enthusiasm as they get older, that’s why Polish crowds are singing, chanting and having fun, they are all young lol If we went to speedway thinking we’re gonna enjoy ourselves, get a couples of alcoholic drinks into us like the Poles do, then the enjoyment might flow, no, some of us choose to moan and groan about every little thing possible cos that’s what older people do except of course my m8 Josey, if the stadium was full of Joseys we’d all be having a great time

Yes, probably, it makes no difference to me tbh, I’m a Stars fan, I only rarely go to a team meeting that doesn’t include my team, I just don’t have that emotional attachment.

Our teams are not dismantled every year at all, I don't know why people keep saying that! My team has just 2 new riders this year, all the rest are either from last year or have a long term relationship with Lynn. Re not knowing anything about local speedway, it's because people today read rubbish like 'The Sun' rather than their local newspapers where local sport is covered! Championship promoters want the best riders they can get hence all the doubling up. It does suit many riders tis true to race for 2 teams in the UK but it does maybe stop youngsters progressing?

I guess so if necessary.....

But why, is it because they aren't a great success, most tracks haven't the infrastructure to deal with the water, most promoters don't have access to their tracks to put them on and off, let alone staff? Most tracks don't have a structure to attach them to on the outside of the track so the rain doesn't seep under? There are loads of negatives? Of course if they don't take them off at just the right time and if the rain doesn't stop at just the right time? Are they worth the cost and effort?

Does Vojens stage weekly speedway with stocks car, drifting etc etc in between?

The fans don't turn up if there is any chance of a rain off so it has to be off imo. Lynn fans come from a 50 mile radius, speedway needs dry weather As for covering the tracks, they are just too big for covers to be a success so we'll just have to put up with the pariah of Speedway!

Seems to me the girls just get in the way of the guy trying to get interviews with the drivers etc in F1. For the blokes and lesbians they are good to look at regards speedway I guess but I’d rather see stuff like slo-mos, emotional scenes from the crowd and pits, anything but boobs and bums lol Luckily there are a whole lot more guys watch speedway than women eh!!
