I think the action is pretty good at Boro and of course Sunday speedway, as u say, suits a lot of people, I would much rather go to Mildenhall though to support all our local boys....

I'll probs blame the modern day and age Daniel. There is no magic wand, speedway is not football, the local young people cannot identify with speedway, they don't care to support their local clubs (football or speedway). Maybe the writing is on the wall, although this has been said for many years!

Fair enough, list the questions and I will ask them..... not saying I'll do it at the press conference but I will get some answers.... But my thoughts, as above, are some of those lapsed fans will never go again, like my husband, he just doesn't enjoy live speedway enough now to bother. Promoters need new, enthusiastic fans, they are the ones they need to be promoting to imo. The future of our sport, not the past... Is it so wrong that I enjoy speedway racing, I go to see the action, to support my team, I enjoy cheering on my team, I love a great race, that's what it's all about for me

Robin and Dale ask the fans at every press conference for questions, at every pre season meeting etc. I guess what you all want to know is how everything is done behind the scenes, how decisions are made, why decisions are made etc. It's easy to criticise, very easy on here when we don't have all the facts. I'm not sure that we are representative of all Stars fans though as the majority of those posting on here just don't go to Lynn, don't want to go, have got out of the habit, don't enjoy the sport anymore, or rather not enough, to go, I have a husband at home who feels the same. He first went as a kid and finished going in the naughties and that was it. Maybe some of you just need to concede that that is how you feel and enjoy your life without speedway? You will never feel the same about it again, it cannot fulfil you, the pressures of the current promoters annoy you so much that you have to wash your hands of it. Remember the good times eh..... when you loved speedway and it gave you the buzz it still gives lots of us......

No club is perfect, yes enthusiasm had waned somewhat, but this year surely nobody can knock what Robin Brundle has brought to the club, he’s done things his way to get the riders in the right place to perform at their best, we have extra entertainment in the “hot laps”, he and Dale have encouraged the riders to do winners laps (the rest is up to us!), the riders are attending the press conference after meetings and the floor is open to questions from the fans (and not one comes forward, they must be happy ). From the Supporters Club point of view our members are now allowed to go on the track walk with the manager and riders, watch heats from the centre and choose their Rider of the Night with everything that goes with these opportunities. Surely the rest is up to us fans, I note that Norwich City fan clubs are now asking for money to buy flags, noise makers and banners to enhance the atmosphere at the football but at the end of the day it’s up to the fans to go to matches/meetings with the right attitude, just like they do big meetings such as Cardiff, to want to enjoy their night, support their team and fav rider, if they walk in the gate feeling negative they sure as hell won’t enjoy it.

Haza, have you been to watch Lynn yet this year? Yes of course we want and need a full team, pretty sure the clashes are almost at an end, let's hope the injuries/fitness probs are too and we can push on up the table.... Really not sure what the Premiership promoters can do to stop the clashes, those 3 Championship teams don't want to give up their long term Thursday night race nights. If they went to Thursdays, the Premiership teams need priority basically, they won't be happy obviously. Do the Championship teams not have off race nights? It's going to be a hard decision for the riders too, what a predicament! British based squads for the Championship perhaps?

Yes the damn GP series has had a huge detrimental affect on Saturday meetings, jeez we can’t have one of our big meetings on a Saturday because it’s either them, the SEC or some qualifier for some championship or bloody Polish practice!!

Lynn used Thursdays last year so no problem for us ........ but Buster owns the stadium so it’s a different situation.

It’s rubbish that he needs to go to another track to further his career, the only thing he could gain from racing regular at another track is more money, given a better deal imo The track last night was terrible, was so many ripples and bumps and plenty of dust, it was rubbish!

Why on earth didn't they allow all teams to race on Thursdays if it suited like Swindon can?

Did Matt propose Weds once the Championship teams said they couldn't/wouldn't run on nights other than Thursdays though, that's how committee meetings work.....

Maybe because he'd put a lot of thought and effort into the post, I wouldn't knock it myself, I think it was very good of him to have given advice?

Who? If that is how they feel then they must do that, are they ever likely to race here anyways?
