You know why I am asking what you want to know for Haza!! It doesn't make a rubbishs worth of difference to you whether it's happening or not! For your information, they HAD to be scrapped by ruling from the SCB I believe. Shame. -

Except this ain't the BSPA, should've given everyone more notice of the possible dates of the meeting imo.... -

Is that what Nigel said, soooooo wrong, Robert has always team rode because he's always had the skill to do so from a young age -
Maybe Kyle Newman will prove a good choice, he can do it if he's on top form.. Lewi was having such a great year, he's impossible to replace like for like....
-
Hmph, know what you're saying, but would he, he let us down hugely when he last rode for us! He's just let Leicester down too.....

Kings Lynn v Poole Monday 23rd July 2018
Trees replied to SteveLyric2's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Personally I just want our boys to win these meetings for the points to climb the table, we want to be in those play offs don’t we?? If we get a good race or two along the way all well and good but if they’re all FTG for our guys so be it YEP win at the cost of great racing for me -

My thoughts entirely -
Speak for yourself, only injury has forced us to change our team....

Is it the case that every club is on the breadline so they HAVE to look after themselves or go out of business?

World Championship Pairs
Trees replied to Mark's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
After looking for one another in the heats then not in the final when it was absolutely crucial was daft at best, unforgiveable at worst. Why? -
Leicester v Kings Lynn Monday July 16th

But they can't guarantee they will be racing inside or outside from the start unless they gate, Huggy was the best track curator ever and he always prepared Lynn with the same grip across the track, that's the benchmark imo. -

Because of the slick inside and deep outside, maybe if they graded the material down onto the inside they could water more? -
Bjerre hated the early grippy conditions unsurprisingly. The track was well watered for starters so why on earth they didn't water again was pretty annoying from a fan's point of view! I thought it was tactical because your boys hated it but who knows...

Look forward with interest to see how Garrity goes, not my kind of rider but let's hope it all works out....

The continuing decline of Speedway

Get onto the Aces management and see if you can have some free/cheap tickets to bring all your team along Hoping to do something like this for my colleagues although we are 40 miles away from Lynn, your lot they have no excuse not to go along haha -
So sad but they love it, just as speedway riders love racing speedway, they are prepared for the consequences ...... it’s like anyone who partakes in anything dangerous, they have to think it will never happen to them to keep doing what they are doing, it’s part of our admiration for them. RIP William. My husband and son went to a talk show involving William, they said he was a real nice, unassuming guy, he will be remembered ....

That's interesting, what would make them good, more commentary? I've not seen them as I am always on the Supporters Club table in the bar! -

I think it startms at 1900, 4 riders from each team do timed flying laps and a note made each week of who is the fastest, just a little extra entertainment.... Also supporters club members can accompany the manager and riders on the track walk -
If, as is always mooted, the majority of Rye's fans are getting on a bit, why can't they support the team on a week night lol. Old habits die hard I guess. I do think the management need to put a bit more thought into the viewing though, open up the pits area too. Maybe it's all too late, the fans have not used and are going lose their club, we'll see.
