It's not robbing customers, they are charging the fans HALF PRICE for the 2nd meeting so business acumen says they will need every penny of that money to pay the costs, some of the costs! The offer is attend the double header starting at 7 or attend one meeting starting at about 2030...

Depends if he's studied the fixtures, stadium availability and riders' commitments of all teams to see what weeks we could've had a meeting before posting??

Apparently our management have employed a rider as back up for the second meeting if anyone does get hurt, taking it very seriously as we expect. Planning for all eventualities!! Come on Our Stars!!

Whilst 'normal' racing continues to be popular everywhere but here there's no chance of handicap racing, it makes the sport too dangerous anyway. In this day and age the promoters need to just keep trying their best in all aspects of promotion. Of course they could do more, more for little or no money, as could the riders (by just saying and doing the right things by the fans to keep them interested, show that they give a damn about their club, the fans and the sport as well as earning their living. There is so much more to a speedway rider's job than racing his bike).

Why? Because you love to have a dig, cos you dislike the club so much, cos you want the club to finish, cos you think you can do a better job than the current management, cos you have nothing better to do, what is it?

Just being realistic that’s all, they have said that fans can come into the 2nd meeting alone and that they are hoping to finish the first by 2015, they have put some thought into this offer clearly. I may be totally wrong, hope I am in some ways, but I just cannot see them giving money back when they need all they can get on such a massive night, it’s not as though we have NorwichCityesque crowds every week (if only).

There is that I guess, they are gonna try hard to get the first meeting over by 2015 though ...... fingers crossed for no delays ......

They won’t do that, if the first one doesn’t go well then everyone will want to leave and they will end up with no money to pay the costs for the 2nd meeting .......

You are missing out a big chunk of my post Haza. I think you have your own views on KL Speedway/speedway 2018 style and will NEVER be swayed and that is that ...... you just love to get on here and pick on the negatives just like I did Woffinden so it’s best to leave it alone I guess! I resist, can you?

I'd suggest that some people will just not listen to reason so instead of arguing the toss with them it is best to cut ties. I am personally guilty of that where Tai Woffinden is concerned so I'm blocked lol, it doesn't worry me two hoots, he clearly doesn't want to read my negativity. I have my opinion about him and will never be swayed, I expect it's the same for certain people as far as King's Lynn Speedway is concerned?

If you were part of the Premiership what night would you run on?

Many older people go off standing on the terraces, they have aches and pains, they want to go to bed early, they can't afford to go, speedway doesn't do it for them anymore, they just won't admit to it :@. They give excuse after excuse, moan and groan, when all of the time they want to sit in their chair with a cuppa and watch Eastenders or Shed n Buried, NOT go to speedway!

Too right Danny, the club has a good feel about it, I truly believe the riders are giving 100% for the cause, what more can we ask, at the end of the day it’s about our team and us supporters, we chose to go watch the team or we don’t, we accept what’s going down or we don’t, we have two chances ..... I choose GO

Are you gonna sponsor a second half competition then to make it 22 heats, the promoters don't make enough money it seems to afford to pay the riders for a second half... All these old companies with bosses who supported speedway have retired/died, it's hard to find new companies to chuck their money into speedway?

I'm not blind m8, I also don't think racing has changed horrendously over the years, it's just we remember good races and block out processions. I know what a casual fan/newcomer wants to see though But we, as fans, shouldn't forget what the guys are doing on track, how vulnerable they are to injuring themselves, how easy it is to just moan and groan when in actual fact they are giving 100% effort, earning a living or not as the case may be, not many of them are having money chucked at them like in the good old days you speak about. The press conferences give an insight at Lynn into what's going on, give the fans a closeness to the riders and management they wouldn't normally have and vice versa. I know how hard Dale and the team work to eek out results, does that mean nothing to you?
