  1. I had someone else say this to me but how I see it, Scott would have put his hand up instinctively ...................
  2. This quote might be But it's surely the reason "Poole Tourism" have sponsored a Dane instead of a Brit?
  3. Too true, I can't imagine why tho, can you???? ermmmmmm
  4. NO WAY! Tabby and Jason are probably as ashamed as Nicki when he blunders through some of his races and fellow riders!!!
  5. Oh good I'm glad you've answered that one Middlo cos I wanted to ask Steve (who I stand with most weeks at the Norfolk Arena along with his other half), what he thought you would have done because I thought it obvious you would have had a word in the ear of the ref although a waste of time My opinion was that it was a FAIR DECISION as Lee was impeded so much so that he had to shut off big time and lost his race position, had Kolodzeij fell, which he near enough did, the result would have been the same. In all races where the rider/riders behind are clearly obstructed the same decision should apply, it's UNFAIR otherwise.
  6. It's exactly what we want to hear, none of this politcally correct or contrived garbage. No editing thank you!!
  7. I sincerely hope too that no speedway fans lower themselves to the level of "some" football fans. There was also the threat to Crumpy and his family a few months ago. I just hope that peoples' emotions calm down and we look forward to the SWC 2005. It would be the perfect competition if only BSI weren't taking the lion's share of the tv revenue Having said that, Andersen will have to go out of his way to earn forgiveness not only for Saturday but for all his on track misdemeanours. If he wants to be liked and respected by all he will have to change his ways big time and quick!!
  8. Thanks for taking time out to post on here Mid. We were all desparately disappointed for you and the team and us So near yet so far. Next year ............. looking forward to the competition already!!
  9. I'm hardly chasing them away simply suggesting that it's perhaps not good PR for their company to be associated with Hans Andersen. At the end of the day they will make up their own mind if he is good for their company or not, I don't suppose for one minute that they will take any notice of my opinion. To be honest thinking about it the more controversial the bloke is the more his mug is shown on the tv so perhaps in that way they think he is good for PR!
  10. Nooooooo wouldn't hear none of it re the Swedes, I simply wanted TeamGB to win full stop and they almost did it, a tincture away from gold I just wanna know where the comp is going to be held next season so I can go to all the meetings to support OUR team Oh er Sue don't worry about SS and SH I'll simply kick em in the shins on Wednesday And I know who was supporting the Danes, I'll strangle her or perhaps give her a little lecture LOL....... Nats
  11. Good on them, perhaps they could give Andersen's share to another British Conference League rider then, what company would want to be associated with this rider, dirty, arrogant and unsporting!
  12. Well that's good to hear, now take away Andersen's share and give it to another brit! He's a dirty, unsporting rider, who'd want their company associated with him??
  13. Fingers crossed eh!!! Where will the WTC be held next year, what about in East Anglia, Peterborough, Ipswich and King's Lynn?
  14. I think Meridian should sponsor one of the british riders not Hans Andersen!!
  15. Actually I'd expect the World Champion not to make glaring mistakes like that one!!!
  16. Sting ........... it's damned odd that every thread on this forum can be turned into a Poole are wonderful thread. Forget your allegiances to the blessed Pirates for once! grrrrrrrrr
  17. Obviously Joe knew what he was doing standing down. Havvy rode brilliant clever races, very, very, impressed!
  18. No, he was the very last person in british people's minds tonight. But surely the light from the camera flashed when only he looked that way, and he made a slpit second decision to stop, the leaders were out in front so didn't see it, Pedersen was behind so didn't ............. tch
  19. So gutted, you got so close, we're proud of you all though, be proud of yourselves. Here's to 2005 ............ I hope the current Team GB are the guys going for the title again, a great, talented, patriotic team Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhh sh**
  20. I most definitely disagree with Vincent Vega, our TeamGB have given their all with Mid as team manager, he most definitely must stay as long as he wants!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  21. We can ALL be sure our british team will give their best .......... I soooooo hope it's good enough. Sooooooooo wish I was there GOOD LUCK TEAM GB
  22. I wonder if Screeny should have believed in himself more and ridden in the final. Perhaps he thinks his bikes wouldn't be fast enough, I dunno. Havvy was in great form earlier on in the season especially around Boro so let's hope he reproduces that. Good luck to them all, a win for the english boys would be a huge boost. This group of riders have given us so much entertainment over the years and a WTC win would top it all off for them and us!
