Here's a little info I've found: How to reach Udine Udine is located in north-eastern Italy. It can be reached by car (motorways A4/E70 and A23/E55), by train or by plane. By airplane There are two main airports serving the north east of Italy: Venezia (Marco Polo airport) and Trieste (Ronchi dei Legionari airport). Most part of the good international connections are throught the Venice airport (IATA code VCE). From this airport you may easily reach Udine by train using the closest railway station of MESTRE. MESTRE railway station is connected by bus to the Marco Polo airport (ask for the bus to MESTRE, not to Venezia, piazzale Roma). There is a ACTV bus (town transport service - orange) to and from Mestre railway station, every 30 minutes. Journey time: 25 minutes approx. Tickets: inside the arrivals hall. There is also a ATVO bus lines (out of town transport service - blu) to and from Mestre railway station, every 20-30 minutes. Tickets: ATVO box in arrivals hall. Both the ACTV and ATVO lines provide bus service to Venezia (piazzale Roma). From Mestre railway station there are several trains to Udine, on the main line Venezia-Vienna. Trains run almost every hour. The journey takes approx. 2 hours. Some trains require supplements or seat reservation. For more information on Venice airport and connecting services check: www.veniceairport.it For train connections: www.trenitalia.com. The nearest airport to Udine is at Ronchi dei Legionari also known as Trieste airport (IATA code TRS). Routing is mainly through Milano, Roma. From Trieste airport you can find two bus services connecting Udine. One is a direct shuttle bus available in connection with main flight departures and arrivals, with few runs. Departures of this bus from the airport are in connection with the actual arrival of the flights. It will stop you to Udine railway station or at Piazza I Maggio, near the tourist office, marked as Air Terminal on the map. The second bus service is the Saita line for Trieste-Udine-Trieste which also stops at the Airport. It runs from 6.01 a.m. to 11.16 p.m. (approx. every half an hour ) but there is no service on sudays!. In Udine it will stop to the bus station which is in front of the railway station. Journey time is approx. 50 minutes. You may check bus and airplanes schedules at www.aereoporto.fvg.it By train Udine is served by the railway that links Rome to Vienna through Firenze, Bologna, Venice. Two trains reach Udine each day in both directions. From 8 am to 8 pm trains link Udine to Trieste-Gorizia (and thus to Eastern Europe) almost every hour and to Venice (and thus to the rest of Italy) every other hour. To check timetables and train categories, visit the Web site of the www.trenitalia.com. The Website of the German railways www.bahn.de is also useful. Remember to stamp your ticket before taking the train! By car Highways A4 and A23 link Udine to Austria towards the north, to Venice and the rest of Italy to the west, and to Trieste to the east. Drive on the A23 Highway towards Udine/Tarvisio and turn right on the ramp at sign reading "Udine Sud". Continue on Tangenziale and go Northwest for 2.0 km. Turn right on ramp at sign reading "Fiera". At traffic circle bear left. Continue following the "Fiera" indications. The Congress is located on Fiera. Have you had a look at these on the following link: http://www.steinternational.com/z_fotogall...-2005/index.htm

So you could say take away all the freeloaders and you'd end up with 39,000 paying public ..... lol -
El Pairs
Trees replied to SteveEvans's topic in Speedway Testimonials & Individual and Shared Events
I guess the tactics in the final showed that Mr Thomas is more aware than Mr Rossiter Wouldn't you have thought that Leigh and Seb had discussed tactics for the final, maybe it was decided they would do what they could and the result turn out how it would .............. had Seb and Simon not clashed, Swindon could have just as easily won the thing imo ............. -
A huge shame that the BSPA couldn't have done what BSI are doing now with SKY on board, then the dosh they make from the british event would be able to be ploughed back into the league ........... perhaps Unless the GB promoters can own more of their tracks we'll never be in the position that Poland, Sweden and Denmark are. We sure could do with more Redcars, Scunthorpes, Eastbournes and King's Lynns!!

Trick At The Millenium Stadium
Trees replied to philcrumpisgod's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
I don't particularly care what Trick does, he knows what he's got to do to catch up and is capable of doing so for sure. It's Adams I want to see getting in amongst the points this time or he can kiss his World (GP Series) Champion aspirations goodbye, come on man don't let yourself down in Cardiff ..............
