What difference does any rider racing at Lynn make to you, you don't go anymore ..... 100% Kerr should be back!

Any scheme to help youngsters "get on" will always feel skewed because there will always be some of them "get on" more successfully than others, it's been happening in Poland for years! I still think it would work to not include their scores in team totals, they could even give the one who scores the most a bonus each meeting or have a points championship between the guys (I guess the stats will be gathered anyway). I looked through the scores of our last meeting which finished 36-54, if none of the RS points were added it would've been 34-49. The score from when we won at Ipswich would've been 42-45 instead of 44-46.

So you're saying that riders doing a bit of gardening etc, trying to get a slight advantage to win the race, stops you going lol. It's their livelihoods, what do they call it these days, degrees or something like that (little positives that give you success), they need to do everything they can to win and earn?? Who wants a meeting to be over in half hour, no banter, no interaction with the crowd, just heat after heat after heat, nah not for me, it's a night out isn't it?

I don't think so, I think people's priorities, loves, wants and needs change, more so than 4 riders racing over 4 laps ....

What do you suggest then? What product do you want? You've obviously fell out of love with the sport, promoters are struggling, if we want our sport to survive we need to support it, riders are still giving their best, it's still 4 riders racing in each race, 15 heats ........... no different to over the years. It's you who have changed ......you don't want to support your club, you're not interested any more, so be it, rubbish happens, my husband is the same ........

It's up to promoters, teams managers and fans to encourage their riders to care about their club, many do imo

The promoters are in charge lol The promoters make up the BSPL, they are all struggling to keep their clubs going ...... thank christ there's more enthusiasm from the fans attending than from many people posting on here. I hope NO potential fans come across this forum either, JEEEEEEZ! How I wish speedway fans were like football fans, fans for life, who pay out what is it £500+ every year for a season ticket for fear of never being able to go again if they don't ...... however good or bad their team is performing!

That's what I said BUT then someone else said to me, why would they want to chuck wages away, true that ..... I think they thought Kurtz n Dan would get an easy 5-1 in the last or they would've put out lower order riders .....

In the days when speedway was a relatively rich sport ...... Lynn had a speedway only, best in the country, track. It's obviously still decent, Dan Bewley tweeted tonight how much he enjoyed it and he's riding all over the world so should know! Those days are gone though, they are decades ago when you lot were enthusiastic youngsters! I still love it, yes want close racing but I won't give it up til I'm 6 foot under haha

If the meeting was over the last 7 heats we'd have won, obviously the damage was done :(. And there was fight in the team, don't think there wasn't ......

Just do what you've got to do mask wise! I've been wearing a mask for 7 hours a day at work for all the time we've had to wear them, you do what you have to do for everyone else's sake!!!!!

No excuses, need to get to the bottom of any problems ...... and go again .....
