  1. The fans need to support the 07 events before any radical changes will be made for 08! It's good to hear that the SRA fully support the idea, at the end of the day it's up to the riders to put on a fantastic show to keep the fans happy and to get them to come back in 08. I hope the BSPA treat them fairly, they are, after all, the most important people in the sport!
  2. Very much looking forward to this one, hope the riders will be up for it!
  3. Heard about this website from an interview with Bill Amick on www.xtremespeedwayaction.com ............................... www.usaspeedway.org
  4. Leigh will have to try again next year for his 10th title, great win by Crumpy though, I wouldn't have bet against him for sure! Where can we get the compilation DVD of all the rounds then
  5. That was the race where they said Ty came 3rd rather than Trev Harding, think they said Trev first time ...... lol I'd go by the yahoo list .... lol
  6. Certainly is, send them an email on your thoughts at admin@radiofremantle.com
  7. Of course it's good to thank peeps for their efforts but I'm sure Ron and Shona don't mind if peeps copy and paste their postings for others info, they did it cos they wanted to and cos they wanted peeps to read the results. On the yahoo list loads of people have thanked them, I'll add my thanks too on there.
  8. Oh for gords sake Bryn, why does everyone have to keep acknowledging everyone else, I post things cos I want to and enjoy doing so, not so I receive everyone's acknowledgement and thanks, surely others feel the same???? Why do peeps think that others are automatically claiming results/info for their own, gord jeezzzzzzz ............ we're a funny old lot!!
  9. If this is to be Leigh Adams last year in the GPs I sincerely hope luck is on his side, jeez it sure needs to be more than it ever has!!!!
  10. Awwwwwww very disappointing for all those involved, I do hope it can be staged at some point .............
  11. Certainly not, simply pointing out the vote to those aussie speedway fans who might be interested in voting
  12. We're working well, into the lead with 30% and 149 votes
  13. The BSF members strike again http://www.ma.org.au/AM/Template.cfm?Section=Home
  14. An Indian Reservation eh, how interesting, how did the speedway go down I wonder?
  15. Yes do keep us posted on the meetings TM, Kev can tell the dream team a little about winning trophies eh
  16. What the hell are Eastbourne racing on Sunday for grrrrrrrrrrr
  17. Is that ALL ....... Just down the road then in aus terms of course Other side of the world to us backwoodsmen in Norfolk
  18. Yes get excited Lunchy, if the riders put in as much effort as they did for Ashley's meeting here at Lynn in March there will be some terrrrrrrrific action. Any idea if the meeting will be videod, are you up for it Anth or is someone already pencilled in?
  19. Haha, even more reason to come now then Dub! Doolan, Jones, Bridger, Lee, Holder .................
  20. Bridger and Holder eh ......... Put me down for a spot on the terraces .... lol
  21. I absolutely sincerely hope that the management do their level best by the team re the track, every team needs their home track advantage/knowledge ........... communication between the team and track man is VITAL now Huggy has gone Such a bleeding shame this has all had to happen this season, at this point in the season, our best ever, damned bull skulled males!!!! BUT, with a bit of give and take, the team can't be thwarted now ................. COME ON!!!!!!!
  22. Well yes it was pretty entertaining although I had my hands over my eyes at times and heart in my mouth after moves from a rider or two. I dooooooooo hope Tomas will be ok, it would be terrible if he now missed out on THE most important matches of the season through an injury in this meeting, which really, like the Boro challenge, should be after all our cup and league matches imo! All the riders were well up for the POULTEC challenge, which was great from a fan's point of view, no going through the motions tonight for sure!! Davy Watt certainly deserved his win in the final (although Tomas may have given him a run for his money had he not been injured ) closely followed by Dan the Man, with Troy and Chris having their own personal dual for 3rd with Troy coming out on top again as he did in the ultra entertaining heat 14 when a dead heat would have been the fairer result! I was particularly keeping an eye on the performances of Paul Lee and Mark Jones. Paul scored a credible 8 points including two wins, in heat 18 he was having a good race against a chasing Kev Doolan when Kev's chain came off I think. I certainly feel that Mark has got loads more to give, his 3 points don't tell the whole story tonight and I sincerely hope he gets his team place next season! He'd win the most controlled wheelie of the night comp without a doubt! The fireworks were FANTASTIC!
  23. I hope you miss a real good one then A certain home winner, I reckon Messrs Holder, Watt, Howe and Tacey may have summat to say about that! And are you telling me that a race with Batchelor, Holder, Watt and Doolan won't be entertaining? Or Oliver, Jones, Mills and Harding? Or Topinka, Watt, Holder and Pijper? Or Howe, Tacey, Doolan and Harding? etc etc I'd certainly 1000% rather pay £10+ to watch this meeting than some ruddy old footie match for a fiver ................... no comparison, how could you even contemplate it! lol
