Wow, what a bumper motorcycling afternoon, 16 heats of senior speedway racing, 8 heats of junior grasstrackers including the number 2 in GB in his class, Robert Lambert, very impressive young man!, 2 CL heats and 3 old codgers heats There were some very competative heats in the main meeting, especially the last one which was a classic thanks to the efforts of Lewis Bridger, Leigh Lanham, Tacey and Iversen with Lanham not being denied! Also cost Trevor Swales another tenner for Steady as apparently for every heat that a Peterborough rider wasn't placed he pledged a note, nice touch! So the newest track record is 49.81 seconds by Kenneth Bjerre, bet it will stand for some time!! It was EASY, EASY, EASY for MB in his match races with Laurence, obviously been practising hard eh Mike .................... and another KL win!!!! The other match race between Honie and Colin errr?? was fun, pleased to say that Honie stayed aboard the bike and even got the back wheel out a couple of times, well done that man ............... stupid but brave haha I owe ya, or rather Steady, some dosh!! I forgot to mention to fireworks which were ACE ............ A1!!

But SS, no congratulations to the winner? Tom was great and perhaps chose the wrong gate in the final but with the speed Holder had I'm not so sure that he would have held him back .............. we'll never know eh That young man is going places and I wish him all the luck in the world! Not unless we go into the top league, Kev will always have a special place at Lynn, there is NO doubting that, but I'm well glad he has the ambition to push on in his career ............ good luck, keep the bucks coming in or you'll have ya father in law on ya Was surprised with one or two of the riders on the night, not so keen on the conditions I guess, not used to all the drive

It's because it wasn't really the richest minute in motorsport, they had to do 7 races, travel over to Germany, prepare machinery etc etc

So the £100,000 will be on top of the money they earn from these 4 GP's, a bonus for racing well and managing not to fall off on the mighty unpredicatable tracks?

£100,000 hey on the last GP, what is the point of that, it all goes to one rider, why not spread the money out throughout the year? They seemed down did they, yeah they'd just had to suffer racing on a rubbish track, their dreams and ambitions are in the hands of a company who don't care what they're racing on as long as they are making money!

Re the richest minute in bikesport ........ so what I wanna know is why don't they count the other 5 minutes that the riders have ridden to get to the final or do they get paid separately for them?

I don't want a room Shazzy, just saying what I think For the record I don't hate the GPs, I hate the fact that a private company owns the rights to them which is why I won't support them apart from watching the racing on the box and promising my friend that I will go with her next year cos I was the reason she didn't go this It weren't, I meant it, Sue isn't holding onto her rooms, good on her!
