  1. In the prog it said they hope they raise lots of money for the Association for Guide Dogs for the Blind and that they will be holding a collection for the SRBF?? Perhaps that didn't happen because of the lower crowd than normal. I must have dreamt that they were having a collection for the Guide Dogs.
  2. As someone has said above, it's the final that counts. It must have felt good for Troy to get one over on Chris all the same though! I love the rivallry between the pair of them and it's gonna go on for many years to come
  3. Nicki was definitely racing the rider and not riding his race hence Gollob getting past for the win off the 2nd bend! If Nicki is in the ascendency who wouldn't be a bit wary? Back to his dirty ways it seems!
  4. I thought they had the option of not doing so, I would have put all 4 back had I been ref
  5. No you didn't much to my annoyance at myself more than anything or anyone else, had a family christening to go to with the "do" being held at our village hall (I've been on the committee of the village hall since 1996 btw), I messed up with who was to do the bar and ended up having to do it myself, had to put it before speedway on this occasion, well peed off but there ya go, speedway can't come first always Was the meeting videod?? Congratulations to Troy on winning the meeting with a faultless max, Lewis, Tai, Will and Chris on qualifying for the final!
  6. I thought those days had gone for Nicki, oh well, leopards never change their spots eh! Agreed, he was a lucky bloke!! We thought the one with the blonde wig that they kept showing was not a pretty sight lol
  7. It's good to see that Tai is getting all the experience he can, and the right experience at that, he's got years and years to learn, to grow and get to the top, surely best to do it stage by stage than dive in at the deep end ...................
  8. What, 7 days til it's all over and done with, dead and buried, dug up and carted away ............. waheyyyyy
  9. Well I'd have thought he would have liked to have been involved in some way for sure!
  10. Yeah I agree it is bonkers (good word!) cos the teams change so ...............
  11. The Young Lions team looks stronger than the Roos team, I mean Tai and Lewis are certainly PL heatleaders, no heatleaders in the Roos team! TBH I know it's Young Roos but Ash's best mate really could have been included, perhaps he still can at Number 8, he's not exactly an "old boy" after all and the Roos "may" need a little bolstering??
  12. Wouldn't need to the bonus point would make the same difference, 3-2-1+1 etc
  13. If Mike Bennett films it yes, probably best to get in touch with him, if there's enough interest he might do the honours.
  14. And no Chris Holder, I'm sure James would like to race in it though unless he is too old??
  15. I took the line up off yahoogroups that someone had posted on there, it was obviously not the revised one, I'll alter my original post to include the alterations.
  16. Love the bit at the end where after Eddie and Tai soak Scott with champers he rips off a tear off from his goggles
  17. I see on the BSPA site today Len is very proud to stage this meeting: http://www.british-speedway.co.uk/news.php?extend.1541
  18. Yes I would have thought so re qualifying, the competition promoters wouldn't be too chuffed if we didn't hahahahahahaha, after all they make sure we're racing in the GB qualifier so we have as much chance as possible!
  19. Forget Cardiff this is the one to go to, Rye House, 15th June, at 2 pm, 16 man line up, all raw talent and desparate to get to the final .............. sounds good to me, I'm there! 1. Linus Ekloef (Sweden) 2. Max Dilger (Germany) 3. Chris Holder (Australia) 4. Robert Kasprzak (Poland) 5. Kim Nilsson (Sweden) 6. William Lawson (Great Britain) 7. Lewis Bridger (Great Britain) 8. Tobias Busch (Germany) 9. Ricky Wells (USA) 10. Mateusz Szczepaniak (Poland) 11. Simon Gustafsson (Sweden) 12. Tai Woffinden (Great Britain) 13. Troy Batchelor (Australia) 14. Grzegorz Zengota (Poland) 15. Morten Risager (Denmark) 16. Ludvig Lindgren (Sweden) 17. Joshua Auty (Great Britain) 18. Leon Madsen (Denmark)
  20. NO I AM NOT suggesting THEY promote a test match!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm wondering whether the BSPA could stage it over here, a********s to IMG, taking money away from speedway that it could do with! How good it would be to be able to support world championship events knowing that any money made would go back to speedway's coffers not some poxy private company who have nothing to do with our sport!! For christ's sake Andy, we do have decent riders!
