Give ya that, but if your number one and two are missing everyone will be happy with these lower division riders as replacements? Absolutely nobody would be happy, it would be a definite loss!!
Barry Hearn knows speedway hasn't a simple solution like he found for snooker and darts! It would cost him an absolute fortune to get full control, millions and millions!!
Just enjoy the speedway people!
There's no doubt that Wolves is a tricky track to race and over the years it has paid dividends but there's no doubting this team who have obviously been performing home and away!
What if the stadiums aren't available to be used on a Friday/Saturday/Sunday?
Do those clubs shut their doors?
What if clubs are doing ok on their league income on Mon/Thurs nights?
Maybe there are promoters out there who could promote an "evening of speed" or whatever you like to call it, surely they would be doing it if they really wanted/thought it worth the effort?
If you honestly think your idea would work you at least ought to put the idea to the authorities, someone may have the necessary time etc etc to make it happen?
Why don't you put your business model together then and put it forward to the European authorities, there's plenty of work to put in to make something like this happen ...... good luck
I don't have a downer but there are lots of people saying how fantastic the IOW experience is but nobody says how large the crowds are so we can compare with "normal" speedway crowds, which is really important to see if the experience is any better basically!
IF it was your club would you be happy with that reply, no would you, you would want your promotion to give more detail surely? Maybe Swindon fans need to get in touch with their local MP to see if they can find out some detail??
The way to go is out of the forum m8 :D. Leave it to those who want the sport to survive and who love watching speedway at their local club. If you have the money to invest in speedway to make it what you want it to be go ahead, if not ..........
