  1. You just don't get what's going on with TeamGB do ya ..................
  2. Err yep, we'll just have to see if anything comes of it ............
  3. Yep I reckon Rob's thinking is ............. the future starts now!
  4. A cheeky sod too, he was clearly searching for a bargain in Primark too or he would have noticed the diversity of the fans!
  5. Thanks for your explanation Mick, Rune was the worst affected by that rut, a few others touched it I noticed. Mark said that he was surprised that nobody went to check on what the problem was, perhaps nothing could be done anyhow ................ I think everyone agrees that the track was 100% better than previous years, Crump should have thanked you lot for talking sense into stubborn old Ole Olsen then not the man himself!! He who thinks he knows best, doesn't know best, obviously
  6. I thought drink is what Cardiff is all about, speedway's biggest pee up! If peed up pirates are causing problems in the stadium of course it should be banned and those who turn up drunk not allowed entry ...................
  7. Yep, got my money's worth again from my SKY subscription by watching YET another GP on tv. Track was safe at least, now all they have to do is make it so you can use the whole track to race on, and do away with that ditch?? that Holta got caught in, as Loram noticed, nobody went over to it when Holta fell, perhaps they thought if they didn't look nobody would notice or summat, organisers continue to take the pee! Fantastic form by Crump to win, nobody will catch him now surely? Glad to see Nicholls getting better results at last this season. Are GP refs not allowed to give all-4-back decisions all of a sudden? Oh yeah and I hope SKY get rid of the stupid bleeding mole, can you imagine F1 or motogp putting up with a bloody cartoon mole popping up on their coverage???
  8. Nah King's Lynn to take 3rd hopefully Whippy although if Kev and Adrian do it for Worky then so be it .............. first place is all that counts really. What you mean got some of his own medicine Good, Lyonsy and Piszcz take the win, well done!! No third or joint third for Worky and Lynn! Thanks to update team!
  9. Got some pillock on the updates posting stupid comments so thread has been locked. Hope Brummies take the win!!!!!!
  10. Why don't they just say the teams who have the highest averaged pairs up to a fortnight ago?
  11. This young man you mean Mungo, ex King's Lynn mascot Go for it Steffen!!
  12. Scotland will always be part of Great Britain Snyper, there's no getting away from it, you're british just like the rest of us haha
  13. Who mentioned anything about anyone getting excited about the photo shoot, for my part I started the thread simply because they look smart and it's perhaps a small starter to helping put the great back into TeamGreatBritain ................ we/they have to start somewhere eh! If speedway is for some part a mind game then it's so important to be positive, if the riders feel positive vibes, read positive comments and hear positive remarks from the fans it's got to help them to some extent? You'll never hear an aussie slagging off one of their own and the same should go for us shouldn't it?
  14. Another brilliant meeting in tribute to Ashley, it will probably go down as one of the best, if not the best meeting of the season at Lynn. There were cheers in equal measure for every rider out there, it wasn't a case of which team was gonna win the meeting, more the measure of entertainment that would come from each heat, dished up by King's Lynn AllStars and of course Arlo Bugeja and a possible KL Star of the future Todd Kurtz?? Chris Lakey of the EDP wrote a good bit for the paper today, together with a series of pics by the looks of it HERE RIP Ash!
  15. I totally agree Snyper that it's what they do on track which means the most BUT, the photo shoot, the getting together, the feeling of unity, is a small but important part of the plan
  16. Take a look HERE .............. looking good!
  17. Congrats to Tai, Lewis and Darcy for getting through to the final and yes commiserations to Linus.
  18. Would it be possible to make teams up of the riders in a club, if it's all about learning to team ride etc wouldn't that be good enough?
  19. I'm guessing he praised the track cos at least it wasn't dangerous like the previous one, Ole had got summat right for a change
  20. It's just not his year is it, poor lil Nicki I have to admit to wondering whether he stage managed that pick up when Emil went into him, he would have known Emil would be flying round the outside, all went a little pear shaped if so and there did seem to be a rut where he picked up too ......... what an evil mind I have What a daft thing for one of the commentators to say that because Scott won his last race he'll be winning at Cardiff ........... what are they trying to stir up??? Yes it's a major breakthrough for Scott given his terrible form this season but come on, he's got a way to go yet perhaps??? Just a little gripe, WHY DO THEY INSIST ON PRESENTING SPEEDWAY RIDERS WITH BLOODY FLOWERS, for gord sake, do they present F1 drivers or Moto GP riders with them on the podium, no, so why our boys, it's embarrasing, the old tradition was laurel wreaths round their necks, much more manly than a bunch of bleeding lillies or better still the trophies would do! Yes of course I watch the GPs, gotta get my money's worth from SKY after all!! And you forgot that Red Bull drinks straw thingy, why not drink out of the can, he looks a bit silly with that tube stuck in his mouth ................ but there ya go if it's all part of the deal then he's gotta do what he's gotta do!
  21. Congrats to Jason on his win on, at least, a track without ruts this time .................. shame Emil tipped the tapes in his semi ................
  22. Yeah it's in the International section, really odd how there's a mod to do this sorta thing but all the trouble there was with ExGen and it was ignored, unless there's someone come to the fore since that, I dunno! I agree though, motorcycling in Ireland is or has been very popular, loads of road racers, so perhaps they'll take to speedway big time .....................
