  1. IF he had had the back up last season no doubt he would have taken the offer. If Tai has the back up room sorted then why not eh, even if he does have to make up the numbers for a couple of years, there's plenty doing that anyways, least he will be gaining the experience of marvellous GP speedway
  2. Let Tai have it, he's probably hungrier than the other two and he sure as hell can't do any worse can he? If he wants to experience GP speedway and has the back up to do it then ............
  3. Glad he clinched it after his dominant year in the GPs.
  4. He'd been a thoroughly frustrating rider to support in the GPs, luckily I haven't been bothered who wins or doesn't win lately
  5. AMEN to that, but failing persuading Kevin back Chris and John Louis should definitely be putting an ad in the local rag for a new, enthusiastic, knowledgable speedway presenter for next season!! I agree totally about the programme, was shocked when I saw the front cover, for god's sake, no thought put into it at all ............... oh well eh
  6. OMG, you can say that again ................... I stood on the apex of 1st/2nd bend for quite a bit of the meeting and the deck chaired mob seemed oblivious to what was going on. Went round to the 3rd bend with Mungo, Baggy and family and it was a little better, not a lot but a little, at least there you are closer to the action and it's good to watch the riders coming into and exiting the 3rd/4th bend. Ipswich definitely need an injection of enthusiasm in all quarters ............
  7. OK first thoughts, disappointment, the sooner they change the track the better imo. Too many processional races full stop. Announcer was terrible, all he was concerned about was reminding everyone about the 16 lapper and a motocross meeting being held locally ............ hardly the thing for an International meeting! Good crowd but no bloody atmosphere whatsoever!! I know I'm totally bias but had that meeting been at King's Lynn I don't think I'd have the same thoughts as tonight. It was good practice to get the young teams together but perhaps wrong end of the season, do summat similar at the start of the season and NOT at Foxhall
  8. I pay more than a season ticket holder, whatabout if I bring all me tickets from Lynn this season will that get me a free programme???
  9. Then ruddy well change it, what's on the Sunday after that, this is the final, the end of their season innit? Oh of course it's all built around the bleeding GP innit.
  10. Bloody Tuesday, why don't they go for next Sunday and the Sunday after?
  11. It's the ............ nah I won't say it ......... read my mind lol
  12. Missed all the racing but saw the presentations, Holta won, Walasek second, Watt third and I think (could be wrong) Darcy fourth! .................. oops beaten to it lol
  13. Agreed, they should be totally ashamed of themselves, in the cold light of day I would be ...........
  14. That makes up for coming second in the PLRC! What a performance from him that must have been, said I'd buy the DVD if he won so it's a visit to www.cleancutsports.com for me eh ballinger HUGE congratulations to Darcy!! What a brilliant first year in senior racing he's had and it hasn't finished yet ........................... Just had a look at the heat results, Tai would have won it on a max had he not messed up in his first, he must be so gutted, he's still got another chance though.
  15. Agreed! I don't think it has always been high on his agenda but yeah congrats to him this season.
  16. Nobody can resist this one can they!!! Should be a bumper crowd!! Let's hope the track is good though cos you don't see too many good passing meetings at Ipswich ............... pity they haven't altered the track yet .............
