  1. He should have ridden a bike that was going well on the night and sort the other one in between meetings, no doubt his Dad and brother could sort it if they have more time than him! Are you telling me that if his first bike at any GP had problems that he would use that all night?
  2. Pleased to see the Poole Pair win and what a pair they are on track. They didn't have it all their own way in the heats which was good to watch haha. Such a shame that Batch got excluded in the semi, would have liked to have seen him and Nicki up against CH and DWR in the final, such is their rivallry owwwwwwwwww Good entertainment on a bloomin cold night, 1st bend was infinitely warmer than the 2nd lol Very disappointed with Kenneth's showing whereas Niels had a good go and scored good points Let's hope he doesn't have such bike probs on Satdee eh .............
  3. Won't make too much difference to EL riders, they all like the track anyways ....... glad Darcy is in it, 2nd and last time to see him racing at Lynn this season probably.
  4. The ******* *** *** take ******* precedence I ******* know that grrrrrrrr ban the ******* old ***!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Nice day innit
  5. Looking forward to this one, hopefully the riders will be up for the challenge!!
  6. Too right there is and for any young rider out there from around the area Mildenhall is the place to be isn't it!! Louis, Jolly and Lee were all there at Lynn and helping the boys out in the pits. There isn't another National League team anywhere with that sort of help and advice at riders' fingertips!!
  7. He was messed up by his partner in a few races, I was particularly impressed by his last race pass, he lined up to cut back on the 2nd bend very neatly Knighty did a couple of passes round the very outside on the 2nd bend just like some of our EL boys, watching and learning eh
  8. Didn't think that name would be in the Czech line up!!
  9. Re the programme Len Silver also said that the new London Olympic Stadium?? is built on the site of the old Hackney stadium not 2 miles away as it says in the programme ............
  10. Anyone who went there last night expecting EL racing must be a little daft!!!! I think they really need to get out there on a bike and see how hard it is to ride/race a speedway bike!!!! Most of these youngsters are learning the trade, let's hope there are enough top, experienced riders out there who are willing to give them the time and tips they need. I hope the alternative weeks of EL and NL will keep the NL crowds up at Lynn. At the end of the day it's the racing practice that the boys need to get on. I take my hat off to all the fans who go to watch NL regularly, putting their money into training up our british riders ..........
  11. Let's hope the fans support it, having said that if SKY are then no worries I'm guessing
  12. Crikey, you wouldn't be saying that if you had to race beside them!!!!! I'd say offer young boys "have a go at speedway" days then they will understand what it's all about and should be in awe of the guys who make it look so easy ........
  13. Very unfortunate, Mark's meeting should have been on a Saturday anyways ..............
  14. Here it Britain it must be a major plus factor when new venues for speedway are being applied for that noise levels are at the lowest level possible ............ having said that I do hope that all riders can overcome any problems with the new silencers, I would hate to think that the things might be causing accidents!
  15. The rider who has the most perfect gating set up will win without a doubt, who's it gonna be this year, ermmmmmmm
  16. Can the riders usually ride really wide on the 2nd bend and get back into contention, I'm guessing they can only do this if there is room for them to on the back straight near the fence ....... I thought one or two of them were just too wide and left themselves too much to do against top riders. Let's hope that the riders/tuners can get used to the new silencers and the set ups required quick. It would have been nice to hear the winners interviewed. Re all those who are moaning about the atmosphere, did you make loads of noise? I have to admit that I think we, the fans, do take the riders and their exploits for granted at times, when the riders were being announced I was standing on the 3rd bend and nobody was applauding as the riders were being announced. Mind you it's a two way thing because not many of the riders bothered to come round on a victory lap following their heat victories, they forget the fans are there to watch them and the fan/rider relationship is mega important!!!!!!
  17. They're too expensive to buy all the time and the moaning I get from my mates I stand with, wellllll I enjoyed it even though the atmosphere was subdued a lot of the time, lots of reasons for that though. Well done to Hans on a mission from the outside gate in the final. Commiserations to Lynn new, old boy, unbeatable for starters then Hans unnerved him when he lifted and lerched on the 2nd bend in their heat together then it didn't happen for him in the semi. Good to see the Lynn contingent there
  18. Perhaps Poland are doing something about it next season by limiting each Elite team to one GP rider and of course the Poles will come first, quite rightly.
  19. Free, there's nothing free in this world, you're paying for it within your sponsorship "bloke"!!
  20. Don't forget to add "in your opinion"!! Elite league speedway is NOT rubbish in this country imo I personally want to do my little bit to keep speedway going in this country full stop, be it NL, PL or EL, you don't give a toss whether we have league speedway here or not, your perogative! I'd like to say that without british speedway there would be no bloody GP speedway but of course the Polish and Swedish argument would come into being, having said that there aren't many, if any, british and aussie riders who start their international careers in those countries so my argument would hold up as far as they are concerned. Keep chucking your money away on the GPs bloke, don't let them milk ya dry What's the name of your company again?
