It keeps him cooooool man, what with his ice and his fan, he's obviously soooooooooo HOT ..... Well either that or he can't bear his hair being flattened by his helmet and uses the fan to spike it up again -
Even the stand in race director prepared the track to Ole's liking tonight

A fantastic ride in the final, congratulations!

Where Is The Swc Race Off And Final?
Trees replied to Trees's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
IF it's confirmed, why the heck haven't BSI changed it to confirmed on their website? Don't they want anyone to attend?? -
Too right SJW!!

Perhaps Olly Allen should be in the squad, he's gating and riding really well at the mo.

Thanks for that Mr Clemens, I, too, visited Wroclaw last year for the WTC and certainly enjoyed my visit. We took a look at the "Raclawice Panorama" (had to copy and paste that, would have never remembered the spelling!) and were impressed by the painting and the ambience of the building. We also loved the old squares, picturesque by day and by night, and would recommended a visit to anyone. As for the pride of the polish people, I will never forget them standing and chanting, "Polska, Polska" ........... I was so pleased for them on their WTC win, the riders and the supporters

They couldn't charge the same price in Poland as over here, the Poles just don't earn that sort of money, most of them don't anyhow ................ -

Well when are ultra professional BSI gonna let the world know where the SWC Race Off and Final is going to be held, pretty important for those who intend to fly into GB for the meetings or want to book holiday off etc ................. why not King's Lynn if Reading isn't up to it -
Congrats to Crumpy, disappointed for Leigh, chuffed for Zagar and Hampel, Jarek Hampel, Jarek .......... shall never get that out of my head from last year at the SWC lol Not half such a good GP racing wise as Slovenia, could have been though, so much scope to pass given the right conditions

Poor bloke, best wishes to him

Why don't they just ad on the points that they score in the semi and the final? Nicki 11 + 6 = 17 ............. 25 Jason 12 + 4 = 16 ........... 20 Tomasz 11 + 4 = 15 ........ 18 Trick 13 + 2 = 15 ............ 16 Leigh 10 + 1 = 11 Zagar 9 + 1 = 10 Lindback 9 + 0 = 9 Nicholls 9 + 0 = 9 Works out ok ....... this time anyhow and doesn't let the winners get too far ahead.

Should Nicki P Have Been Excluded
Trees replied to Grachan's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Quite right 21stCH I guess as long as one wheel wasn't still on the track then they were breaking the rules! -
You are soooooo right, about 4 years ago the GP from Bydgoszcz was amazing, now Ole has his say it's gone downhill, how can that be good for speedway ...... oops sorry I mean BSI!!
-
Not for Leigh it wasn't Good to see him "chasing the dirt" rather than keeping on the inside, I sincerely hope he has better luck in Wroclaw.
-
Of course he is, Mr Rickardsson is obviously GOD to Shovlar ......... tch Your man got beat Shovlar, accept it!! He'll have to do better next time
-
Oh yeah me old primary school pal too, bloomin woman!
-
Weren't we all ........... LOL ............. well all apart from the Eastbourne mob and Ray and family
-
Bloody unlucky for Leigh .......... grrrrrrrrrrrr and then for Pedersen to win it, worst scenario for me ..... lol Congratulations to the little squirt, he stuck the pressure from Crump well but always had that little more speed. As for Crumpy being dirty, I think not SCB, did he slam his machine into Pedersen, of course he didn't, he was very controlled, just trying to get the advantage over Nicki. A good all round GP, keep on watering the tracks you guys, dismiss what Ole might say, what does he know anyway .......... I so hope they don't take any notice of him at Bydgoszcz!!!!!!!!! Ha, bad loser Shovlar!!

I'd have to shave too, that's no good What with Honie and his london accent and us two, broad norfolk (ok, me broad norfolk ) .............. you'd regret it Mike!!

Lee Herne Wins Wagga Wagga Long Track
Trees replied to Main Man's topic in International World of Speedway
OK, sorry about that ......... Brief report of Saturday's long track meeting is hereunder. Overall plenty of close, exciting racing, not a huge crowd - plenty else on in Wagga on the weekend and there was light rain during the afternoon. Lee Herne became the fifth different winner in as many years when he won the final of the long track slider class at the 2006 Riverina Long Track Cup at the Wagga Wagga Showground on February 25. Five riders always stood out and they turned on some great action through the three rounds of heats and final. Cory Gathercole (1,1,2) was top qualifier, despite losing to Daniel Mason (2,3,1) while Herne (2,2,1) and Jason Stewart (3,1,2) were the other stand-outs going into the final. Unfortunately defending champion Luke Gough (1,2) damaged his bike in a starting line scrimmage in the third round and Anthony Dall (4,3) was similarly affected and neither were able to contest the final. Herne set the pace in the final and seemed to have a real battle on his hands as Gathercole loomed starting the last lap but the Mildura teenager could not carry on with his impressive charge from fourth that put him ahead of Mason and Stewart, while Matt Jones (5,5,3) , Daine Stevens (3,4,5), Quentan Byrne (6,5,4) and Elliott Myers (6,6,4) were the other finishers. Trevor Baker (1,1,2,1) took the honours in the classic slider class ahead of first time visitor from Adelaide Seane Chapman (3,2,1,2), Chris Potts (2,3,3,4) and Peter Drury (4,4,4,3). Some names well known to speedway regulars had success in other classes on the big program. Luke Gough did have some consolation with a clean sweep of his three heats and the final of the up to 450cc 4-stroke class, while Jamie Plumb beat Jason Stewart for honours over the four rounds of the over 450cc 4-stroke class. Tim Heffernan was placed second and involved in several of the best races as he tried, unsuccessfully, to lower the colours of Darren Herrick in the 250 cc 2-stroke class. Herrick also cleaned up in the 500cc FTX class. The Harley / Twin Cylinder class was again exciting with Rodney Anderson edging out Anthony Davies and Jack Stevens. Tom Armstrong grabbed third in the 125cc class behind Josh Waters, who also won the 250cc 4-stroke class. The 2006 Australian Long Track Championship meeting will be held at the Wagga Wagga Showground on November 25. -
