Wolbert got a better engine towards the end of the season and so showed what he can do
-
Come on Buster, let's have a name, keep us happy haha
-
I'd like to see him at Lynn.
-
Great news, sooooooooooo hope the new promoters are well liked by the Worky people and they get behind them in their droves like they used to in Stoney's day!!!
-
I'm quite surprised that Bridger hasn't got the support behind the scenes that he needs given all the Eastbourne connections he has. Clearly he needs to be racing in the PL and doubling up in the EL, hope he can make this happen then have a really good 2013?!

Weather sounds good for this tomorrow, haven't been to an ELRC for a while, supporting our man, NKI -
I guess I have to agree with this!!

Referee Just Bottled Semi Decision
Trees replied to TheReturn's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
It looked to me as if Jack Holder came out of the pits whilst Nicki was "talking" to Chris and by the look of his face he was perhaps asking Nicki to leave his brother alone type thing, that's when Nicki pushed him which incensed Chris and then others got involved. So you have to say had Nicki simply walked past Chris on his way back to the pits none of the pushing and shoving would of happened but true to his style Nicki had a little go ............... the rest is history, Chris Holder World Champion -
Referee Just Bottled Semi Decision

I don't think Chris was pulling their strings ............. -
Pedersen clearly clamped him and said so in his interview! As you say what was Holder meant to do, he had to turn ....

Chris Holder World Champion
Trees replied to T.N.T.'s topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Congratulations Chris, always destined!!! -
Shallow or what!!
-
LOL you don't know me mate!!
-
Obviously he thinks that it's best to react for the viewers, how is that so wrong? And why would any british fan want Pedersen to win it, he does nothing for speedway here now!!
-
Are you serious!?? Holder doesn't drag the camera towards him, the camera man constantly focuses on him!!! I'm hoping Holder becomes World Speedway Champion 2012 NOT flipping Pedersen!

Harris Threatens To Quit Team Gb
Trees replied to JT's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
But at the end of the day BSI are the ones making the money out of the competitions, not the leagues, not the riders. OK so I guess Buster has made money from hiring the Norfolk Arena to them which is great but that's about it. Or are you telling me that TeamGB get loadsamoney for putting a team together to compete in the WTC? -
Harris Threatens To Quit Team Gb
Trees replied to JT's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Hmmm interesting, Bomber is right, if BSI don't think he's good enough for THEIR GP series then why should he give his services for THEIR World Team Cup competition .............. politicis eh , this is where the lack of "proper" qualifiers for all riders, every year, for the individual championship goes wrong. If they all had to go through qualifers then they'd all be satisfied being in or out, it would be all up to them. We've had the aussies holding the BSPA to ransom now we have Bomber trying it with BSI I'd agree with this if it wasn't a BSI competition. -
Rico Memorial Meeting
Trees replied to Sprog1's topic in Speedway Testimonials & Individual and Shared Events
Can understand why though, they never expected quite so many people, as you say as fitting tribute! Some really good racing, stand outs for me being Darcy (of course), AJ, PK and Lewis Bridger. Bridger gave a heartfelt tribute to Lee and his family and obviously raced hard for his 2nd place, AJ was clearly enjoying his evening back racing at Lakeside and PK was PK Darcy gave it everything, very entertaining, as always, wanted the win and wanted the engine It must have been such an emotional night for Lee's family, his eldest son brought a tear to my eye when he told us thank you for coming to his Dad's Memorial meeting over the tannoy, hit home, certainly did! Wishing the family all the best for the future, hope we helped in some small way. -
Ash was no EL snob I'd layabet that Ash would have been chuffed to bits to think we still think of him, riders still ride in his honour whether they be at NL, PL or EL level and that fans turn up to watch them do their stuff. I, too, was looking forward to the meeting, it would have been interesting to see the riders in the line up, all riders should be (even Fisher but I'll let others do that haha) admired for racing speedway, it's not as easy as some make it look. As always it would have been a time to remember Ash racing at Lynn, remember what a great guy he was, remember his 4th bend passes, remember his team riding with Kev Doolan, remember the great team spirit the Stars had that year, remember how things were looking so good for his next season in GB when he was dealt that cruel card on 13th November 2005 RIP Ashley Jones

Rico Memorial Meeting
Trees replied to Sprog1's topic in Speedway Testimonials & Individual and Shared Events
Thought I'd make a banner with "Remembering Rico at King's Lynn" .............. wouldn't it be great if people from all clubs made something similar up too, black writing on a white sheet?? Would be special to think all clubs were represented. -

Jason Crump To Step Down From Sgp At Torun.
Trees replied to NeilWatson's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Certainly hasn't looked to be enjoying speedway for years ,not surprised about his decision at all. Yeah I wonder if he'll have one last hurrah in GB, perhaps he'll retire altogether ..................... we have all certainly enjoyed his efforts over the years, particularly when he rode for King's Lynn in 2000 and 2001 -
Didn't they know the rain was coming then, surely had they prepared the track anything but totally dry before the covers went on then it would have been a different track to what it was? It was a typical Double O track. Why ever is it the last year of racing at Ole's track? Can't he (or whoever) stump up the money anymore or is it the end of some internal deal with the FIM BSI and Ole? I notice that a nice new grandstand has been put up since I visited there earlier in the 00s. Holder is becoming the only rider that SKY focus on with interviews and shots between races, have all the other riders signed an interview black out or summat?? Holder'll make a great champ, 100% better than Pedersen and he races in GB, let's hope that continues

Yes I agree Semion hence I typed "whether he is asked to race or not" ...............
