  1. This has developed into an interesting thread because I have always wondered if it would be possible for british fans to put a meeting on and perhaps call it something like The Supporter's Trophy meeting. We do so much bleating about how we'd like the promoters to do this, that and the other in speedway so why don't we show em how it's done LOL and then they can pull our promoting skills apart or not as the case may be .................. all might be wishful thinking .......................
  2. Where do you draw the line between being fair/honest and commerical importance in world speedway? We musn't forget that it's only a commercial company running these two competitions, if it's not working for them, ow well, promoters in GB have to manage with small crowds, cut their cloth accordingly or do the other .............
  3. Hmm funny u say that, did anyone notice how the trophy was sort of snatched up and out of his hands when it was presented, good job he didn't get his finger caught in it at all he'd of had it wrenched off!!
  4. Owwwwwwwwww Jirout, controversial or what!!!! So what did happen to Tomasz's engine????? How much do IMG pay to the managers of their competition then, might be worth ya while Steve!
  5. Imo Greeny's ok in the pits imo but I like Steve Brandon better, the trouble is just what can you ask the riders different, answers are always very similar and of course we hear them about 10 times a season, 4 would be more than enough Disappointed with the winner Crumpy rode well considering his injury and the rutty track, was well pleased for Scott (hope his van started this morning!). I would like to know what happened to Adams, he was soooooooo slow after he changed bikes, he must of had trouble with his first bike??
  6. That's good to hear Steve, I think ALL british people, if truth be known, yearn for our national team to be a strong force again, you only had to listen to the pins dropping at Cardiff when the national anthem was about to be played to realise that As proud as punch the people were
  7. Might in 08 though if OUR luck is in, that's yours, mine and all of the wonderful british people Steve
  8. Says what he thinks though, he'd be straight with em .............
  9. He's got a proven record Just needs to apply that to EL then ............
  10. Peter Johns apart what british tuners do we have that tune world class machinery?
  11. You're right Grachan it was painful and humiliating
  12. For me, it's a definite that SGB have to make sure that we don't have another performance in Poland in a WTC like the one our boys put in Leszno, questions have to be asked and answered don't they?
  13. Well that's a definite! Take that one step further, are our comparatively small british tracks hindering our rider's international careers?
  14. I hope the brits come out and tell the fans exactly what happened on the night, they were surely well up for it but were obviously lacking somewhere, can we have an honest post mortem please, I'm sure we would all like to know what went wrong??
  15. Oh come off it, would the Danes not have done the same in similar circumstances ................ of course they bloody would, they're not squeaky clean haha It was a stupid rule anyway and I hope they change it for next year!
  16. One or two of them got their set ups rightish by the end of the meeting ........... we sure need to do something about being more competative when it comes to the WTC in Poland 100%!
  17. Or a few more polishesque type tracks over here maybe? What a fantastic race track Leszno is, speedway at it's speediest LOL Chuffed for the polish people, they adore their speedway, are 100% patriotic and I love to see them celebrating ...................
  18. Totally agree Vic! I love to hear Nigel get excited about speedway cos I'm usually doing just the same LOL
  19. I hope they prepare it like they would a Leszno league meeting! They know it makes sense!!!!
  20. Nobility eh .......... I think of him as a tough, determined, focused and talented young rider who I, too, think will go a long way and good luck to him! I see Kasprzak in a similar light as far as the Poles are concerned.
