  1. Haven't taken much notice of the reason Czech are seeded apart from thinking the obvious, but was it the decision of the FIM, BSI or a condition of the deal done?
  2. I value our league structure and will always attend league racing as opposed to GP or SWC racing. Without league racing and clubs riders would not reach GP or SWC level!
  3. There's no professional grasstrack league where you support a team, totally different sport and if you're only gonna support grasstrack you won't see many meetings in a season .................. I guess you won't get bored of it though!
  4. Why not trying to make it cheaper, £5? for under 23s perhaps? If we want young people to attend, encourage them with cheap prices and get it advertised on Facebook and Twitter!!
  5. Let's see what your promotion has to say about that statement! It seems Hans did the honourable thing!
  6. As Saturday nights used to be here!!! Sunday afternoons were popular here too!!
  7. Flaming June!!!

  8. It is so hard for these youngsters unless they have a rich family or benefactor behind them, if only there was enough tv money to help them . .
  9. All fans, riders and officials should donate to their tracks fund!!!! Put your hands in your pockets for a very important cause!!!! As a Lynn fan I have sent money to the Newcastle fund ............ lots of small amounts adds up to loads of money £18,000 for the Buxton fence so that's 900 people donating £20 ............ not impossible!!
  10. No NEVER thank goodness, how sad! But that passion keeps speedway at the top of the tree in your country eh!!!! Is it just because of the speedway or wouldn't ordinary people shop for instance in each others city without problems? I love your patriotism, how fantastic it was to watch everyone singing the National Anthem at Gorzow last night B-)
  11. It's a chicken and egg situation surely? Elite League promoters are really up against it with all the various fixtures their riders are taking part in and so having to fit around! Premier League promoters have it relatively easier imo and so don't need such a complicated set of rules! I guess the only way to make running EL teams easier would be for all teams to run on only 2 nights of the week. It would certainly make it better for tv for starters and riders' calendars! But will this ever happen? Speedway could also do with more tv money so they could use it to attract more fans particularly for tv matches!! I'd be all for having more PL together with EL meetings on tv, it's good to see lots of different tracks and riders! I realise that this wouldn't go down well with EL promoters but I guess British speedway isn't really in a position to pick and choose?? I guess PL promoters know their job is easier than EL promoters as far as sorting their fixtures and signing riders is concerned? We'll see what happens!
  12. Oops Tai chucked his lovingly prepared bunch of flowers away there at the end of the presentations, naughty! Mind u if the promoters just forgot the flowers altogether they wouldn't be a miss! Well done to Hampel on his win, the Poles are so patriotic, fantastic hearing them proudly sing their National Anthem!
  13. I also used to like when the riders got on their bikes outside the pit gate, that way anyone you detested could start receiving abuse as soon as they appeared LOL = all Ipswich riders .................. Nah it added to the meeting somehow
  14. I used to like it when the terrace lighting went off during races, more atmosphere!!!!
  15. As long as the fans keep buying them they will keep charging a tenner!
  16. Great meeting, great racing Can't all SKY matches take place there ................ so that's the answer to british speedway, change your track to make it like Somerset!! ha
  17. Hmmm listening to Bikerfm tonight and it seems OneSport are certainly in correspondence with BSI, through their solicitors!!!
