Lynn have Rob Lyon, who's been a Lynn speedway fan for years, he lives locally and cares for the club ..........

100% against T/Rs in the playoffs! The teams that make it to the playoffs should be good enough, in fact they have proved they are good enough to end up at the top of the league, without them!

Such a shame that the stadium owners won't invest in the stadium! I guess Cook and Duggo just have to keep pushing? Re the merchandising, I really like John Cook's leather jacket with the Hammers logo on!! Of course they should get some merchandise done for the fans, if it's cost that is preventing it, couldn't they take orders and only get them done when the minimum order number is reached, get them out for Christmas!! There's gotta be companies out there willing to do small orders?? Johnstones do sponsor some sort of football competition I believe so they may be up for it?? Paint can be £40 - £100 a gallon depending on what it is .....

Great reply Hunty I guess we need to approach our promoters re helping? Working parties etc probably go on every year, I know they do, but let's give our promoters an idea about what we think needs to be done? Maybe a paint company could be approached by the BSPA (Johnstones?) to sponsor them with paint (probably been done before?) as a whole for advertising at every stadium?

We're not talking about a few meetings at the end of the season Haza!

I know that Gustix BUT there are things that the speedway promoters can do I'm sure if it improves the stadium, paint, repair, clear up etc ............. all fans moan about how old and decrepit stadiums are, perhaps they could do something about it, working party etc? Just a positive thought

Was thinking this morning how I notice things that aren't so great about our stadiums and which could be put right with a little effort. So why not start a thread to give our promoters an idea about what we think could be improved . . Kings Lynn: nobody has done more in the last few years than Buster to improve their stadium and he's still going strong but I'd like him to make sure the tannoy system is always loud enough on the first bend, I'm also wondering if there is anything he could do about the centre grey, I realise it gets a lot of hard from the stocks and bangers but I'm wondering if it was painted in places if it would last with some touching up during the season? Might be a complete waste of time I guess! I'm a huge fan of flags too, those were the days when we had them up in the centre green etc I'd also like to see pics of all the Stars teams over the years put up in the bar, celebrating the history of the club . .

So don't give a hoot for those who can't be arsed to race here! The guys who do actually value British speedway show that it can be done given the desire! So look after them promoters ie sort summat out re the Danish league . .

Oh don't get me wrong, I totally agree re the family atmosphere of the club, the presenter is great etc, I just dislike the track . .

What disappointed me about the track, basically the shape, the size and the bumps going down the pits straight always bug me, I don't find it an exciting track I guess, there's no flow to it .......

Surely with the advent of digital tv, speedway was always going to be televised. Digital tv is the only reason that BSI/IMG took on the world championship ....

No Marko, it should have been 20 qualifying heats, a semi and final! They decided during the meeting to not have the final set me qualifying heats because me the track! At that point they told the fans to keep their entry tickets as they would afford us a concession off a meeting go 2014. Thanks for sharing that, gives the fans an insight into what goes on and how much effort is given!

I made a trip down to Eastbourne this season, I remain so disappointed with the track, if it was my local track I dunno if I would be a fan at all!! I always tell people about how the track would have been where the stock car track is had Bob not been at Martin's birth, it is true isn't it? If only eh!
