  1. Then ruddy well change it, what's on the Sunday after that, this is the final, the end of their season innit? Oh of course it's all built around the bleeding GP innit.
  2. Bloody Tuesday, why don't they go for next Sunday and the Sunday after?
  3. Missed all the racing but saw the presentations, Holta won, Walasek second, Watt third and I think (could be wrong) Darcy fourth! .................. oops beaten to it lol
  4. Agreed, they should be totally ashamed of themselves, in the cold light of day I would be ...........
  5. That makes up for coming second in the PLRC! What a performance from him that must have been, said I'd buy the DVD if he won so it's a visit to www.cleancutsports.com for me eh ballinger HUGE congratulations to Darcy!! What a brilliant first year in senior racing he's had and it hasn't finished yet ........................... Just had a look at the heat results, Tai would have won it on a max had he not messed up in his first, he must be so gutted, he's still got another chance though.
  6. Why haven't the bleeding FIM done a deal so this could be on tv, what a meeting!!
  7. More qualifiers and less GPs would mean more riders being able to compete in the world championship as they could afford to .................. a more varied world championship trail = more interest!
  8. Monday Night SKY league which includes GP riders who want to race over here on a set night, SKY deal covers all costs ........... Proper club race nights for a new British League ............ well who knows but hopefully would include EL and a number of PL clubs including KL and not including the GP riders/riders who don't want a full british league campaign. Sounds good but who knows what the BSPA have in mind?
  9. And that comes from one who has been there done that!
  10. It says this apparently: FIM president Vito Ippolito is content with the developments in the Speedway Grand Prix. “In countries, in which the Speedway Grand Prix gastiert, it is very successful”, means FIM president Vito Ippolito. “Global seen we are locally content also with the ratings in the television as well as with the number of fans. Now must be invested into the expansion of the series to make around it a world-wide event.” In addition, the 57-jährige Venezolaner sees problems in the course haven: “Contrary to nearly all other engine haven disciplines there is no support in the Bahnsoprt by the manufacturers. We talk however about a really attractive and spectacular kind of sport. Important it is therefore that we find methods and ways, to merge sponsors into the sport who have to do less with the motorcycles, but directly addresses the public.”
  11. And all could be lost to the GB if they get through to the GPs ............... who here wants to support that?
  12. Let's hope they presume right then. If they presume right british speedway will be overun with boys wanting track time, let's hope all the tracks can keep their heads above water til this presumption is realised! What a crazy set up. The worry must be that any sponsors gained will want that GP exposure not mere SGB but who knows.
  13. The FIM pay the riders so it's up to them to put the money up?? BSI/IMG pay their bit to the FIM and if they make any more it's theirs to keep, it's why they bought the promotional rights of the series.
  14. Perhaps the FIM should take the rights to the speedway world championship away from BSI for making a mockery of it!!
  15. Is there any possibility that BSI are trying to kill off world speedway on SKY? Surely once the SKY commentators are saying it's boring it's a death knell?
