Of course, perhaps again it could be sponsored, I'd love to think it could be sponsored by the fans, £1 a piece every year or whatever people want, nice lil bonus for the team eh! Supporters Elite League Trophy?

Was as Swindon last night and looked around me to see the majority of fans were probably over 40. So how can we get young people to speedway and keep them there ..... if we did, would they be satisfied with 'just' the speedway, as newbies no, so what would they want, music they like, commentary on the racing (Aussie style?), a chance to get out on the centre green, a chance of pics with the riders, encouragement to cheer for 'their' team. What do you think? I think 100% more thought needs to go into the presentation on race nights to make the whole experience more entertaining!! And then give every regular fan a freebie ticket to bring along a young person under 25 .... I know this has all been said before but .......

The play offs could be turned into a big money spinner with a sponsor perhaps and be very significant! Every year, every team that finishes top of the league standings but goes on to balls up the play offs are robbed of praise for their efforts during the year, of course it's not right. If only the BSPA thought it significant enough to award a Top of the League trophy or something like that, why not?

They're all in good form, Rory had a great meeting last night although he couldn't quite keep it up til the end. We wouldn't be where we are without them all riding to their best the majority of the time? I guess in one way it's good to lose as it makes you regroup and more determined not to let a good thing go. Our boys have clearly worked hard all year for glory, they will not let it go to pot now I'm sure ..... COME ON!!! AND COME ON FANS, SHOW SOME APPRECIATION,THAT'S APPRECIATION ;-) PS clearly I have too much time on my hands this week being off work but people go into your local Tesco and see if they have reduced the England footy stuff, they have some white horns which would be great to give out to all the kids at Lynn, then they can make some noise for free ;-)

Since becoming a Star Niels has certainly joined my small list of riders I have loved/love watching race/ride/speed round Lynn on their own, list includes Michael Lee, Dennis Sigalos, Henka Gustaffson, Leigh Adams .... :-)

So the change to the rule book should be as follows: if a Danish League Meeting is unavoidable equivalent guests to those riders missing can be used????

This farce could be sorted to a certain extent even at this late hour if proper guests could be drafted in and then carry on this rule til the end of the season, it makes sense for the fans' sake? I know it is wrong but is it right for the promoters to be asking the fans to pay out good money for potentially such a one sided meeting either?

I'd hope that following last season's ban of NKI that the BSPA agreed that if any Danish riders had to race in Denmark that they would be able to be replaced by the 6 pointers rather than receive a ban? Seems that way doesn't it given that's what we had for Niklas ....

Why do you say nobody saves their money for gps rather than league racing, I reckon they do! You do for one :-p

It seems they are torn though, the trouble with Wednesdays is it's Denmark's night like Tuesday is Swedens. SGB have no agreement with them over fixture clashes so what to do, I'm guessing our fixture list came out last so they have to honour their Danish fixture?? So SGB need to do what is right for SGB and it's fans?
